Official ****braska Hate Thread

Today, we were in Stincoln, and went to a museum on campus. First, on our walk in, I pointed at the stadium and told my daughter that is where the buffaloes beat - as a four year old calls them - the big reds. Then every Bison fossil or statue in the museum was “Ralphie”...which I’m sure turned some nub heads. Her choice of gift shop token was a sucker with a small stuffed buffalo caddy. The disappointing part of the whole day was being in Stincoln, and not driving further west to get out of this state

BS has been reduced to basically mailing it in at this point. Envy! Copy/paste. Jealous! Copy/past. Guy is a shallow, empty shell of his former self, just like the KNU football program.
Well that rant read as though it was written by a 3rd grader. Carry on there Junior.

So she thinks Ralphie is DEAD! Figures. CU hasn't had much of a program for a long time either.

That's the admission we've been looking for!

See, the difference here is that CU fans know we have sucked ass for an extended period of time. And yet we still achieved scoreboard against the Fuskers two years in a row. How? Because the Fuskers suck worse!

It has simply taken until now for you to realize it.

Congratulations on making it to 2013. I look forward to you absorbing the last 6 years and the actual reality of the Fuskers current place in College Football settling in for yourself and the rest of that runza fanbase.

Hoiberg acted incredibly irresponsible. In the midst of this outbreak, he did exactly what every public health expert has said not to do. He went to work sick and exposed a ton of people.

He's a husker, what do you expect?

This is absolutely irritating! Not just in this case., but the public at large. My sister-in-law, who is a hairdresser and is basically self-employed, had a client that admitted to being exposed to someone that was around another individual that is sick with COVID 19. They were insistent about getting their hair done. There is no personal leave or sick days for my SIL and wife, who works in the same studio, along with a long-time friend. Some people don’t understand that sick is sick, don’t mess with the health and well-being of others

Agreed but I guess he didn’t have it so that’s good.

Crazy and irresponsible.

Your SIL is far from the only person who works a job that involves close personal contact with the public. A little basic common decency would go a long way here.

Instead of what is being proposed in Washington right now I would more be in favor of a program that would provide paid sick leave for people in service industries, food industries, child care and education, and other high risk areas who's jobs don't provide paid sick leave. Many of these people have no or limited health care as well. I'm not a fan of most of the health care proposals but in situations like this for the good of the general public these people should be able to get screening and basic treatment at no cost.

Would it be a good thing for Scott Frost if there was no season this year?

probably good for him, moral victories are abundant in a season not played.

I may have to continue social distancing through November if these nub fans don’t get their break from reality through fusker football...Nebraska...:cautious:

I understand that social distancing is going well in Nebraska. I turns out that when Nebraskans stand belly to belly, their faces are still more than six feet apart. Football season is a go!

Hopeful for a season! There were a couple games I was looking at when they released the schedule. Buffs football is a great reason to make a trip out, but it’s not like I need a reason to get out of Nebraska or Western Iowa!
