How far is Jacksonville from Orlando?

Math - how does it work?

Thinking about using FF miles on Frontier to go down to the FSU game. The only problem is that Frontier doesn't fly to Jacksonville. They fly to Atlanta, Orlando and Tampa. It appears that Orlando is the closest of the 3 to Jville.

Anyone done that drive?

Nevermind. No FF seats available to either Orlando or Tampa. How far is Atlanta?

can you fly into daytona?

Atlanta is as close as I can get with FF miles. I have almost 60k Frontier miles that I want to start using. Who knows how much longer they'll be around?

Might just try a Disney trip this fall instead (assuming i can actually find a flight to/from Orlando)

You could try West Palm Beach, with a pass through Orlando on the way up or the way back down the coast. Orlando is only about 30 minutes from the coast. Ft. Lauderdale is another option, although it's about an hour south of PBI.

Ft Myers to Jacksonville is about 3 hours. Not sure if Frontier goes to Savannah but that is around a 2 hour drive as well

According to the route map that I saw at their terminal last week, they do. Would it hurt to call and find out?

They just cut 17% of their flights and gave up a gate at DIA last week. I would guess that route might have gotten the axe.

But to answer your question, it would not hurt at all. Feel free to give them a call and let me know what they say. :smile2:

I'm not the one who's trying to fenagle the trip. You are. I'm just trying to help. I'll quit doing that now.

dang sorry guys, I'm in VA beach for a family reunion (dad's side) but Orlando to Jax is an easy drive--2.5 hours Interstate at most, 2 if you know the old highways...

there are probably more flights to Orlando too, but they will be full of screaming Disney children.

I myself plan on driving from Orlando to Jax, I know, it's a sacrifice, but I'll find a way...:smile2:

still lobbying the buffs to work a 2 for 1 with UCF and their "new" stadium.

I'm in Richmond going to the game, and we were going to fly from Richmond direct to St. Augustine which is about 45 min to Jacksonville. The total cost would have been $50 ROUNDTRIP :wow:. But, the airline, Skybus folded probably a week after I found that out. Now I have to drive the 8 hours because tickets are in the 200-300/ticket.

Hope so, it'll be me and three ladies, unfortunately, only one fellow buff fan though and two FSU fans:sad1::cry:

yeah, it can be ok though, my wife's a Nole too...my daughters will go to their first Buff game(and FSU game) this season at Jax but they will go in Black and Gold...they know the fight song for CU and haven't learned FSU's despite my fsu alum parents efforts.
