Nice G. Hypolite Story

SCB

Well-Known Member
From Yahoo Sports:

Olin Buchanan
Rivals.com College Football Senior Writer

On Saturdays, he gives offensive linemen headaches, running backs bruises and quarterbacks a hard time. But during the week, Colorado defensive tackle George Hypolite transforms from tormentor to mentor and gives of himself.

The big man who excels in a violent sport reaches out to small children impacted by violence. As a volunteer at a Boulder-area safe house for battered women and children, he interacts with children in need of a positive male role model.

Rest of the story...

Don't copy and paste full stories and not even link back. It's rude to the original site and author. And probably falls under some laws. Fix it up with a link and just a paragraph or two or I will have to remove it.

No problem. But I did include the author of the story at the top. Anyway, I am merely a conduit of executive authority and as such, will do as I am told. :wink2:

Does this go for all articles? I often copy/quote/link Rocky Mountain News or Daily Camera articles.

I will stop this practice.

Here's the guideline....
Copy maybe a paragraph or two and paste them, and paste the direct link as well. See what the RSSbot posts in the newsroom as an example

Southern Cal sucks cause their residents don't know how to link. :smile2:

Nice. I think I'm holding down the curve for Southern Cal computer savy curve. MHBBuff and Absinthe can link so don't group them in with me. I've already got enough people who don't like me on this site as it is. :smile2:

Who doesn't like you? Besides hard-working authors/journalists whose work you steal.

:smile2: Just givin' you a hard time SCB...fishermen are cool in my book!!

Not really. But you already knew that. :smile2:

True.

So are you going to tell me how to link or just keep taking pot-shots from the peanut gallery? If you do, I may let you win an argument or two. :smile2:

Big George will be a big load to handle this year. I know Hawk is counting on him & the rest of the D line so the corners don't have to play man to man.

the man...

the myth...

the rabid goldfish!

When you're on the page you'd like to link, highlight the address, use CTRL C (or right-click, copy) to copy it, then paste it in your post with CTRL V (or right-click, paste). That's it. There are lots of ways to make it prettier, but we'll stick with the basics for now, grasshopper.
