Darrin Chiaverini relieved of his duties as Offensive Coordinator

I agree, but most OL that CU recurit or were recruiting were not physically ready to compete for a starting spot for atleast 2 to 3 years after they arrive on campus.
Yes they are considered projects. If they were talented they wouldn't be considered projects. If you watch a lot of HS film most P5 lineman aren't 250 anymore, most are 275+.

@Duffman

CU has Ol depth. The problem is most of the depth is young and inexperienced. Also had guys leave early and guys out due to injury. CU is forced to move guards out to play tackle. Jake Wiley probably needed one more year of development before he is ready to compete for starting role. Frank Filip needed more time to come back from injury and also needs to get bigger and stronger. The Tank is one or two years away from copetiting CU is bringing in 3 freshmen, Boley, Gray and Edwards. They will probably need 2 or 3 years to develop. The Buffs have a problem. Will have to look at transfer portal or JUCO ranks to fix it. Need at a minimum 2 upperclassmen tackles for the 2022 season. Need the two deep to look like the two new players, Filip and Wray. The other guys should concentrate on getting better. The OL problems is also not entirely the fault of he players. There is also poor coaching. CU is getting beat easilly by simple twist stunts. But you also have poor play from Senior OL like Kutsch and Pursell. That is the most disappinting part. Kutsch and Pursell have been dreadful the past two games. Expected better interior play from the seniors. MIght as well give Lee, Johnson and others more game time. Ray should never start ahead of Roddick. Roddick has also had some bad spells, but he is the better run and pass blocker. It is a mess.
Dude, I don’t even know where to start with this. It’s like watching a car accident. You want to look away, but you just can’t. Good lord.

I disagree we have depth. It is not an excuse, it is a reality. Well who ever played center was awful. Kutsch did play. The guy that played center against UNC and ATM was also awful. Coaching has been awful. Seniors haven't played well. I personally don't have any loyality to seniors that are not playing well. It might be time to bench both Pursell and Kutsch.
Jesus, you really suck at this.

CU overall OL depth is not poor. The program is recovering from bad recuriting classes and early departures and injuries. One or two more years will correct the class inbalance. In the meantime use the transfer portal to add 2 Seniors that can start and bridge the gap.
Minn beat CU repeatedly on a very simple inside loop. No CU OG had the feet to get off their block and pick up the loop. Bad talent.

My response was to the folks attacking young Freshmen OL , calling them busts or not good enough. The recent episode is Jake Wiley. It does take time for OL to develop.
They are busts. They are not good. Sorry but you don’t understand Jack Sh!t.

I look at high school tape. Against HS competition, the player played well and then I project what the player will look like in 2 or 3 years. It can go either way.
The fvck you do. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Fvcking poser.

true detective time GIF

People on here were saying, CU has no depth, CU Oline is terible. Basically saying every single tackle is terrible. Will not name names, they were saying ATM is going to destroy us, no chance. I responded by saying that is not true, yes we have talent, we have depth, but the depth is young and inexperienced, Not ready to play, will need time to develop. Also said need to look at the transfer portal.
I've had no problem stating my confidence in B Lewis, my doubts in inserting Carter improving the situation, and my opinion of this line being below average on a good day. So, I'll name names.
I'm leaving Max Wray and Noah Fenske out of this bc I haven't seen their hs tape and they've played 4 games in a CU uniform collectively.
Frank Fillip is the only o lineman who will get A LOOK from the NFL. Beyond a training camp spot, idk
Pursell is an above average center on a good day
Kutsch is an average pac 12 starter on a good day
Roddick and Ray are average pac 12 starters on a their best days...and that's being really nice
Wiley is a third year freshman. I don't care how many years of eligibility he has left, I've seen enough. His ceiling is Hunter Vaughan's
I genuinely like Litchenhan, Amaya, and Anderson's tapes. Whether they pan out or not, no idea. Too many variables.
Anyone I didn't mention, take a guess...

Wait, explain it one more time.

One of my thing about CU fans is when they say we have 'depth' or 'talent' simply because we have warm bodies.

'We don't have a depth problem at WR, we have 8 of them on the roster!'

If your players suck, are too young, or injured, you have a depth problem.
