Colorado vs USC Game

Just back from the game. A few observations/points. Not going to going into the 40 things I could.

- Student section showed out and were primed and ready. Once the weather turns a bit colder and this team continues to lose you're going to get about 30% capacity. Many I talked to said they will be there in two weeks because it's parents weekend, but then they're done.
- Lewis is irrepairably broken. What talent and confidence he may have had is shot and is not coming back. I am dead serious when I say his best bet is to transfer to DII after this season, becuase he'll never be able to play successfully at this level. Not trying to be mean, but his window is closed.
- Our OLine is fundamentally bad.
- Our talent across the board is pretty sh!t. You wonder why we don't put someone else in when the starter is not doing well. It's because our 2s and 3s are not legit D1 talent, skill and size. Walked behind both benches during pregame. We are so fvcked in the coming years.
- Our passing scheme is so basic? broken? bad? I don't know what to say. The route concepts/combos are 3A HS level.
- Boulder is freaking beautiful on gameday.
- KD has lost this team.
- We will lose to Arizona.

There are areas in our state that don't value education. And there are areas that don't value CU sports (and in fact, root against them); they all get to vote for Regents.
AD funds itself. Regents need to keep their mouths shut. Of course that won’t happen. But it feels good to say. :)

Dual Purpose 8,000/3,000 HS turned into a pro style statue! So sad

TBH, I question if the majority of the voters in Colorado have CU's best interests at heart when they vote for regent.
I doubt the majority of the voters in Colorado even have a clue who they are voting for when they vote for regent.

Fair to guess that most of the votes for regent are due to party affiliation, which party is that voter favoring this time around.

In a few cases it may be because they remember a name off a campaign sign but have no clue what that person actually stands for.

Need to take the regents off the ballot and have them appointed by the governor and confirmed by the legislature. Put the districts on a rotation basis with 2 districts up every two years (or something similar.)

If you want to make them more representative have the US representative from each district make the nomination, still subject to legislative approval.

Get rid of the people using the positions as a steppingstone to other elected offices.

Left half way through the third. But only because we scored at the end of the half. Otherwise we’d have left at halftime rather than pay $30 for ****ty hotdogs and ****tier waffle fries. Luckily the big I found walking around in my waffle fries was only a lady bug. No way was I not going to eat them. They cost $6 for 6 waffle fries! A buck each! And they were totally out of napkins.

I agree completely.

It would take a constitutional amendment though, and I highly doubt you could get it on the ballot, much less passed with 55% of the vote.

Too many idots would want to "have their say".

We need a strong, pro athletics Prez. If we get another Betsy Hoffman we’re totally ****ed.

I drove 503 miles for this shiiiiiiiiiiiit

We need to change conferences.
I fear that our administration would simply drive us to sink to the bottom of any conference we are in.

At this rate I doubt we could end up in the upper half of the RMAC, the admin would go the cheap route.

A lady walked past my wife and I at King Soopers. We had our CU gear on as did she. She said, “That was awful, wasn’t it?” I agreed and said, “I’m not sure if we can do this anymore.” She agreed and said, “Fire Cheverini.” I agreed and said, “I don’t think Dorrell can get it done.” She agreed and said, “It was a beautiful day in Boulder.” I agreed.

That was good, now try again in haiku form.

I was taken out for great lunch at a new beautiful restaurant that just opened here in Charlotte. I was then taken to have a full detail done on my car. Thank you to my beautiful wife of twenty two years for the anniversary gift that kept me from this **** show. I've read enough of the comments here to know I missed absolutely nothing of interest. Thank you baby!! I love you and looking forward to the next twenty two.
