So OU goes 52-2 against Chattanooga? WTF? Who missed their blocks and is spending all of today running stairs?

Frosh longsnapper sailed the hike over the punters head. Punter ran back and basically shoveled the ball out the back of the end zone.
If anyone is running the stairs it'll be the LS and the P - with the entire defense in full chase mode (for blowing their shutout).
I had a big discussion with my brother about this and said that OU would have gotten a much better test, and therefore more improved football team, if they had played Rice, or UTEP or some scrub school like that. He said those schools would demand a return trip- and OU would not agree to play an out-of-conference road game against a non-BCS school....

Hello my fellow FL Colorado Buffalo brethren.
the interesting thing about that game was OU was up 50-0 at halftime and Chattanooga led in time of possession (at the half) with 1 first down.
how is that even possible?

What is interesting is that the score was 50-0 at halftime.
Then there was a terrific lightning storm over Norman, which caused a 70+ minute delay.
I was a bit surprised that OU came out in the 2nd half and only scored 7 points. I guess the long delays (and Bob Stoops begging them not to run it up) had something to do with that.
I do not understand why OU plays these games. At the end of the day, OU would have been better off having another scrimmage, because playing against their own team would have been a much better test. Chattanooga was basically a high school team. Their coach was on the radio before the game and he came right out and said, "We know we're not going to win this game -- we're in this for the $400,000 pay day."
