The buffs 21 point win over the rams last Sunday was the first double digit win by the buffs in a season opener since 1998 when CU beat CSU 42-14.

First opening week double digit win in 10 years?

Damn, that's depressing. But i'll take it this year.

We are notoriously slow starters.

And most years have been playing a team playing their Super Bowl in week one. Even in years CU wins, CSU tends to play over their heads in keeping the game close, as we all know...

Of course, there have been other season openers that can only be classified as a bit disappointing, but I'd really prefer to forget those ever happened... :sad1:
