Ranking the Big 12 going into confrence play

1. Oklahoma. They could win it all, impressive, but have still yet to face real competetion.

2. Mizzou. They will lose 2 or 3 when it's all said and done if that defense keeps playing like that.

3. Texas. They have impressed me. I thought they would underachieve this year. Hopefully the buffs can expose them somehow.

4. Texas Tech. Offense hasn't been as explosive as recent years and they are untested. I do't think they are a top 10 team like they are ranked right now.

5. Oklahoma St. Great offense, but untested yet by a good team.

6. Kansas. Still a decent team, probably bowl team, but nowhere near last years hawks. I see 4-5 losses for them.

7. Colorado. Good start against decent competetion. Adding injuries worries me.

8. Nebraska. Even though they came back, I wasn't all that impressed watching them against V Tech. Maybe it's because I expected the skers to roll V-Tech.

9. Baylor. They have an impressive leader at QB. With some lucky breaks and upsets, they could sniff a bowl.

10. Iowa St. Looked good early, but then lost to UNLV. Still a dangerous team in confrence if you're not ready for them.

11. Kansas St. Kitties look bad to me. Getting embarrased by a team that scored 2 points to Kentucky and then allowed Louisianna something 30 some points. We better kill these mo fos this year.

12. Texas A&M. Lost to Arky st and had a tough battle with Army. Horrible team.

Generally, I agree althoug I would bump KU up over TT and Okie lite just because of the coaching skills of the big man.

I can't really take much issue with any of the above.

We'll see about Missouri this weekend. Crush the 'Huskers, and their legit.

Baylor has been a pleasant surprise. The freshman quarterback will win some games (of course, that means we get to play him in his junior and senior seasons ).

A&M, on the other hand, has been flat out awful. If CU is going to get a road win this season, this is the best chance.

Ironically enough, none of the six ranked Big 12 teams play each other this weekend. The openers are the six big boys against the six weak sisters. We'll see whether all six are deserving of their rankings!

Go Buffs!

True, I think TT is actually the worst of all the ranked Big 12 teams. I can't believe they are #7 in the nation. They wont finish near that.

I'm surprised at how good Texas has played this year. I might rank them ahead of Mizzou because UT has better athletes.
