Official Game Thread - Colorado vs TCU: Sko Buffs!!!

Models don’t account for heart and art, it’s just a bunch of hot air, like a fart.
when you’re betting against billion-dollar corporations with their own models that bury people like you, it pays to have a model that’s better than theirs. You don’t understand basic statistics and don’t understand gambling. Unsure why you post when adults are talking.

Unsure why you think you have a better model than billion dollar corporations.

If your model was so good, next weeks game would be at Folsom field at Manhattanbuff Stadium.

I know my model is better because I’ve beaten the books for over a decade in two sports.

Your continue to show your ignorance with the above post. Sportsbooks don’t enable you to bet infinite money.

I owe Costa Rica Buff an amazing THANK YOU for this. The stream was perfect all day! It will be my free go-to for the rest of the year!

I know there's a "cutting the cord thread". I don't have time to wade through that ****.

Help!

I need FS1 for tomorrow (change of plans, means that I'll be at home for the game after all).

But as I look ahead to the rest of the season, I'll need to watch the rest of the away games too. What's my best path to get all the games for this season?
If you are in a pinch, use your laptop and connect it to the TV via HDMI

Go to link removed.
There will be a list of games and TCU-CU will definitely be one of them. Click on that game
You can select any of the options but I find 'thestreameast' to be the best. If not, just keep selecting options until one works
Click on the big arrow
The game should come on. Sometimes a popup will appear. Just close it out and hit the arrow again until the game comes on.

Technically its pirating but you don't need to worry about computer viruses or anything. Been using the site for years with no issues. Its not perfect but its better than not watching.

FFS it's his JOB. He didn't know that getting a first down by going out of bounds with 30 seconds left was better than staying in bounds and having 4th and 1 while TCU had a timeout. Also, he's the opposite of professional. Watch ANY USC game.

Second down and four at the Utah 48, 12 minutes left here in 2nd quarter, USC RB takes the hand off BOUNCES OUTSIDE CAN HE DO IT YES AND KNOCKED OUT OF BOUNDS AT THE 45!

Rising drops back to pass, has a man open, he catches it and now he's running and he ran after catching it for a 65 yard touchdown. The score has now been adjusted in Utah's favor. But BOY am I excited to see what USC can do with the 7 seconds left in the game down 4.

He's not Rod Gilmore levels of egomania, but he's the quintessential announcer who wants to create a narrative during the game about his own performance and not of the one on the field. He'd make a great NBA official or MLB ump.
He does at least one of these goofs every game. I get as an announcer he needs to bring some excitement to the broadcast but trying to be energetic and emphatic often seems to get in the way of making the call.

Some thanks to Myles Slusher, who made that final tackle.

Mr Hunter will likely be gone next year, as will Shedur, unless CP convinces him to stay for the NC run.
One of the best things about yesterday's game, and all the media, is that dozens of top recruits now believe in the Buffs. I felt like HS kids weren't that aware/into 55 year old CP. That has totally changed

Travis has one season left. He's not going anywhere.

Any of you who were there yesterday (I am not reading through this whole thread), it was an amazing environment to be in the visitors sections. So many Buffs fans and our black n gold. I teared up a few times, but especially when we won. That last tackle on 4th down to finally stop TCU, priceless. The final knee... and done! The love shared with so many Buffs fans here in Ft. Worth the last couple days was amazing. I was the crazy one in the Buffs straw cowboy hat (speaking of Cowboys, I am passing AT&T Stadium rn lol). Also, I got the opportunity to talk to and meet Savion Washington's family. They're amazing and wanted to know where to find a good tailgate before games 😉👍🏼 I let them know how sweet and respectful their son was and they were so happy and grateful to hear it. He's also a beast of a man child and will anchor our O-line! Being at this win was even more pleasing than beating Nebraska and being there a few years ago, not going to lie. Let's crush them next week!! Much love, all. Go Buffs. 🤠⚫🟡🦬

Gus has always been a pro.

I know that for some announcers preparing for the game involves watching a lot of game film so they can get to know who is where and when, get used to putting names to numbers and following tendencies.

Not saying this was the problem for Gus, just don't know but just like the rest of us he had very little to work with coming into the game. This team is a whole new collection of players running an offense (and defense) that is new to the players and the fans

Announcers can normally anticipate a call much of the time. Today he had no better idea of what to expect than we did.
I like Gus. Anyone who gave us, “Lindsay…Lindsay…Lindsay!!!” is ok in my book. However, he had a horrible game yesterday. He called a missed FG, “incomplete” for some reason. Yes he missed a lot of players names and I’ll give him some slack for some of that. But he also missed obvious stuff like when Wilkerson ran out of bounds after the first down at the end of the game. He just had a bad game.

Exactly that. He has one more season left
I guess I'm unusually dense this morning. As a soph, he could play 2 more years at CU. If he chooses to leave, he's a 1st round pick.
Don't see how that adds up to one season left.

I'm not following that. He's a sophomore.
You can't play in the no fun league unless you're 3 years out of HS. RS sophomore and true juniors are NFL eligible, but true sophomores are not, so he's back next year.
