Other Games 10/17 - 10/21

UVA's first EVER road win against an AP top 10 team.

And then there's this:

Down through the years Virginia has had some good teams, not great but good. You would think that at some point they would have had a road win against a top 10 team.

Then this years team, a team that has been outright lousy, that has been one of the worst teams in the nation does this.

Part of what makes college football so much fun to follow.

Guessing @CarolinaBuff thinks Georgia is the #1 team in the country.

No argument there. I feel bad for Iowa, they have wasted years of a CFP level defense because their head coach can't bear to fire his own kid.
It's not all the coordinator. Their skill positions on offense are routinely awful outside of TE.

I can't name a single receiver from Iowa the last 20 years who was actually good.

And Utah continues its domination of USC, with a tip of the cap to ex-Buff Becker. Lincoln Riley is such a fraud.

Because Georgia has beaten so many impressive opponents????

Georgias schedule is just as much ass as Michigan’s. If you’re going off schedule and opponents, there’s no question at this point it’s Ohio State and Washington as 1 and 2

Georgia's schedule isn't anything great, no doubt. They've also won the last 2 national championships and haven't lost yet this season. tOSU beat an ND team that should've lost 3 in a row. UW beat Oregon on a missed FG, nice win. And are currently tied with mighty ASU in the 2nd quarter.

These teams are all very close - UW, Georgia, Michigan, tOSU, FSU. It will play itself out.

So why would it be laughable to say Michigan is #1 right now?
