Two CU Bowl games on ESPN Classic on Monday morning:

1993 Fiesta Bowl
2002 Fiesta Bowl

both losses, both agonizing in their own way. The '93 game against Syracuse involved CU outgaining the Orangemen by a good margin, but CU gave up a kick return for a TD and Mitch Berger left alot of points on the field in a close loss. The '02 game needed to happen a week after the Big 12 Championship game - too much time off for a hot team. That, and Joey Harrington played a perfect game.

well, we helped Joey out by not covering any of his receivers. talk about coming out flat. my memory of that game is watching UO guys catch balls with not a single Buff on the TV screen for a full second after the catch. what we are playing 8 guys on D?

I'll watch the 03 game because I was there and was a little too young to fully remember what happened with the exception of watching the OU offense pass up and down the field.

I was also at that game and I also don't remember what happened all that clearly, but for completely different reasons.

I do remember Brown's touchdown in the first though, and I remember Boston played the national anthem. That was WAY awesome

i was going to bring that up in my earlier post. they were on top of the scoreboard or some shizz.

They also had one of those football field sized American flags... that totally blew my keystone-addled mind at the time.

Terrible game, but plenty of fond memories of that trip. Good times

That 2003 game still ticks me off. Our offense played in cement most of the game, and the defense was playing 10 yds off of Oregon's receivers on 3rd and 5. All game.

That 1993 game was a treat too. We ended up trying a halfback option by mistake in our two minute drill. That was hard to watch.
