Really enjoyed watching OU flame out ...

... last night. LOVED it.

I can't get enough of Stoop's frustrated face or those fat Okie band hags.

What is Oklahoma now, 1-3 in the BCS. Wow. Love this new losing tradition they have established.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Stoops is a dumbass. Although I wanted to the Big XII to win, the positive is that he, once again, screwed the pooch.

0-5 in their last 5 BCS bowl games.

OU really blew it last night. Tim Tebow is not going to give you that many chances. First and goal from the 7 and they get ZERO points - TWICE. Unreal.

I think Stoops sometimes outsmarts himself. You don't leave points on the field in a National championship game - especially in the first half. DUMB. And on that third & goal at the end of the first half, somebody NEEDED to tell Bradford "If the receiver is WIDE open, throw the ball, otherwise throw it away. DO NOT FORCE A THROW UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES". Of course, he forced the throw. :bang: Look, playing Florida isn't the same as playing Baylor or A&M. You can't get away with the same crap you get away with against inferior teams.

Athletically, I didn't see much of a difference between the two teams. Lots of speed, lots of strength on both sides of the ball. From that perspective, I was encouraged. It wasn't like OU was up against a bunch of superior athletes.

I wanted to see the Big 12 win and ofcourse.... create more controversy. I get more and more pissed off at the system.

I want even more than that.... to see CU get the type of speed and size that these teams have.

Screw the Big 12 crap. Sounds like you haven't been a buff fan long enough to totally hate OU and NU.:smile2:

:yeahthat:

Looked to me like two pretty evenly matched teams. The big difference was that UFla made more plays than OU did. OU left a buttload of points on the field (missed 4th down, red zone INT, blocked FG, first drive inside the 10 called back by penalty). You've got a combination of mental errors, coaching decisions, special teams breakdowns, all in play there. Add in a receiver dropping a pass that ends up as an INT, and you've pretty much got a team loss here. The team that played the better game last night won. But it isn't a situation where UFla wins 10 out of 10 between the two teams. Not even close.

Plus, even if that pass is completed, it is highly likely that the dude doesn't make it into the endzone and the clock runs out. They didn't have any timeouts, did they?

The red-zone play calling for OU last night was HORRID.

They had one timeout left.

Even though the maximum impact on the game was only 3 points, can someone tel me why Tebow didn't get a 15 yarder when he took off his helmet after he thought he heard the whistle? The OU coaches were going nuts about it. UF kicked a FG on the next play, which they made.

I thought that was an automatic penalty? He was still on the field when he did it and he was complaining to the refs about the whistle he thought he heard.

Ok, I dunno why I'm saying this - because it's definitely not the norm for me. But that sucks. That girl probably has struggled and been made fun of her whole freaking life for being fat, and now, everyone in the world is calling her a walrus on the internet. I feel bad for the girl. Hopefully she has good friends.

Agreed. I'll laugh at her because she's crying about a football game, not because of her weight.

Get some perspective, girl. It's a freaking game.

Because he's Tim Tebow!!!

There was also one play where the Florida defensive linemen knocked the ball out of the center's hand before a snap -- and no penalty was called there, either.

I hope she has good friends too. Everyone gets made fun of though, its how you handle it. I suppose it isn't fair to make fun of her over the internet, but she's not the only person we have made fun of on this site or any site. Thick skin.

That was the conclusion I came to as well. I was just hoping there was more to it. The preferential treatment by the officials in the NBA is a big reason I don't watch hoops anymore. I really don't want to see it in football, too.

I personally felt that 87 was paying the bandmember a compliment.:smile2:
