Re: '10 CA WR Robert Woods

It's really doubtful we pull him. USC and UCLA are his early leaders. USC is supposedly on top at the moment.

Re: '10 CA WR Robert Woods

Hopefully you're right. That would help us out with Hinder.

Edit: I'm tripping. I thought Woods was a QB for a sec. My bad.

Re: '10 CA WR Robert Woods

Do we have anyone out of Junipero Serra HS? Seems like they produce a lot of talent, but that we seem to swing and miss on them, or have we landed any?

There are more than a couple of Junipero Serra's in Cali. The ones that I know off the top of my head are in Gardena and San Mateo.

I messed up. I was thinking about another kid. All these threads are getting to me!

Re: '10 CA WR Robert Woods

Woods will attend the NIKE Camp at USC in April and on his questionnaire form, listed Cal as his top choice followed by UCLA, LSU, USC and Florida. Are the Bears really at the top of his board right now?

"Honestly, Robert doesn't have a leader or really a strong group of favorites, he's open to everyone," Robert Sr. said. "He'll go through the process and see what everyone has to say and he genuinely gets excited every time he gets a new offer. I think he's open to staying close to home or leaving the state, he's just looking for the best overall fit for himself."

Woods focusing on track at this point

While spring practice is kicking off all over southern Calif., one of the top players in the state has yet to pull his cleats out of the closet. Robert Woods (Gardena, Calif./ Serra) is one of the state's top sprinters and is putting all his focus on track for the time being.

Re: '10 CA ATH Robert Woods

That school is absolutely stacked. Robert Woods, Paul Richardson, and George Farmer (2011 recruit-might be the best of the three).

Re: '10 CA ATH Robert Woods

Woods would be a stud as either a WR or DB. He wants to play WR and almost everyone is recruiting him there. Definitely a long shot for CU, but so was Darrell Scott. It certainly wouldn't hurt if his teammate, Paul Richardson, became a CU lean and talked us up.

Re: '10 CA ATH Robert Woods

Landing Richardson would be nice. I agree that we do not have much chance with Woods either way, but you never know. Plus it could possibly help with Farmer next year. I have heard some people say he is the #1 WR in the country right now.

Woods seems to like USC and Cal quite a bit. Think he ultimately ends up a Trojan.

I don't know how to tell what thread are dead but still in the system. Is there a setting I can change to look beyond what's on the first few pages?

Edit: Or did I just miss this when I was scrolling?

Re: '10 CA WR Robert Woods

Just refer to the '10 Recruit Profile List.

We go with your thread on Woods. It still has that new thread smell. :smile2:
