Simas makes Tim Griffin's List to emerge this season

Have you read much of Athlon Sports?

They are currently going through and evaluating 2009 for each position.
The buffs aren't showing up much.

Kasa did make their top 100 list.

Suppose it couldn't hurt to shoot Braden an email on any of the positions he hasn't evaluated yet.

Who cares....I am totally fine if we get dogged in every publication this offseason and then explode out the gates and keep winning and supposedly shock the world (shock everyone but us Buff fans who expected it)....we really haven't done anything in the past 3 years to deserve any extra respect, so we have to come out and EARN it this year

We'll get more press when we win a lot more than we lose.

Griffin is a HACK! I still can't figure out how he got a job at espn?

Because he is a hack, he is easily swayed by readers suggesting what he should write about. Try it, you'll see.

That was my point with Athlon, see how much they are swayed by readers suggesting players and stats that are interesting. Relieves the boredom until the spring game, the season, recruiting madness, and the cycle all over again.

I think on some level, they know they should be covering certain states more, but too busy (lazy) to look up anything interesting, but when it drops in their laps, they run with it.

I noticed Kasa was also on their DE list (obviously gonna be) and Darden on the WRs.

This has to be Griffins biggest line of BS he has made to date!

Tim Griffin: The reason that Texas schools have been featured so prominently the last several days is that they are actually practicing. Texas is taking advantage of the warmer weather to start practice as the first team in the conference. Baylor will start its next week, leading to my story earlier today on Robert Griffin.
As I've often said, I consider the 12 schools in the conference as almost my children and I try not to show any one of them any more love or favoritism than another. Even if it makes me feel like Old Mother Hubbard sometimes.

The only thing he has said often, is texas, texas, Oh! lets talk about texas for a change. This of course would not be a sign of favoritism.

And here is the link.
