No, UNLV didn't infiltrate the Wolf Pack's practice. The coaches were with Indiana which is getting a first-hand look at coach Chris Ault's Pistol offense. Earlier in the day, Kansas coaches were in town, although they had to leave before practice started.

Dammit! Hawk, you should have done this last year!!! IF hansen wins the QB battle, I would love to see this become a formation...

downhill running + spread shotgun passing = sweet.

yes I know I am a broken record on this :smile2:

I like the pistol... but I'm quirky like that. Lot's of possibilities and it's better for running than the shotgun.

Does anybody know where the coaches are going this year for Spring Break to "learn"? Last year, I believe they went to Eastern Carolina to study the offense. I would not recommend repeating that trip.

I would say **** going elsewhere, just lock themselves in a room with a lot of game tape from the 2001 buffs...

Then throw in a dash of the Oklahoma hurry up Double TE formation set...

and come out with about 40 new plays, then drill them into this young team until they could do it in their sleep...

and maybe keep 10 plays from the hurry up disaster last year.

Well said. Toss in a couple trick plays and maybe one double reverse per season.

do whatever is necessary to keep the defense guessing, BUT always be able to move the ball on the ground to control the clock and keep your defense fresh....
