I think their assessment is right on, not too many things to disagree with.

Dead Nuts on. My biggest fear is the lack of athletism at QB and WR will focus defenses on stopping the run. Don't care how good this very young OLine is, it's difficult to run the ball when the D stacks the box. Paging Mr. Simmons, Paging Mr. Simmons....
I think WR is gonna be better than most think. Simmons, McNight, and Simas!:wow:
"Hawkins had a slight edge out of spring practice, but only because of experience. Hansen is the better athlete and a better runner, and you might see the Buffs rotating quarterbacks this fall."
If we end up rotating quarterbacks - we are in deep $hit.

Right now if we can't pass we won't be able to run. The passing game is a problem - or could become one - losing J-Fly didn't help. As far as what to do about it - I guess you go with the play action short to medium range, but no more Hawkins rolling out to the right and throwing back to the left across his body. Rotating QB's can work but it seldom does.ya maybe, what are you gonna do about it?

You don't pass to set up the run--you run to set up the pass. I'd rather have a good ground game and weaker passing game than vice versa.
Basically put, we don't MOVE the ball well, we are screwed. If we can't run the ball well...that means a higher likehood of going three and out and putting our defense on the field for longer stretches of times than they should be. The success of the Buffs this season lies in the offense's ability to move the chains.
