ESPN Vote. Who wins the B12 North?

misery is currently 2nd in this poll. I guess most of the idots out there just blindly look at last year's records and base their picks on that alone.

there's nearly as many Nebraskan's living in Colorado than in Nebraska also.... Most of the other states are at least reasonably logical when evaluating the home team. I think CU has got some big question marks. KU is a clear favorite but a tough schedule. NU and MU will be decent if their QBs step up - big question marks always with newbies. KSU and ISU have no chance.

I saw some youtube comments from KSU fans the other day arguing that Bill Snyder did it before, why can't he do it again? And they expect the cats to contend for the Big 12 this year. I think kitty fans are in for a big surprise.

In Colorado, CU is at 37% with NU at 38%. I'm going to make sure this is posted at the other sites in hope that we can swing our home state.

If (when?) KSU has a bad season and misses a bowl game, their funding problems are going to get so much worse. That AD is in serious trouble that they may never recover from.

Does anyone on here actually think CU will win the North this year? I certainly hope not. As a homer I would love for that to happen, but realistically I just don't see it. Honestly, the North doesn't even matter, the South will kill anyone from the North, regular season or Conference Title in my opinion.

I totally see us winning the North this year. The only North team with a better, more experienced QB is Kansas. But our defense is much better. Given our schedule and some homerism confidence in some of our questions getting answered the right way, I would expect every CU fan to go into this season feeling like we have a good shot at winning the division.

Besides KSU and ISU I think anyone can win the North. I can be a homer but even realistically I think the Buffs have a good chance.

I see the Buffs winning the North. Look at the schedule and tell me why we do not have as much of a chance as anyone playing in the North. We have KS, MO, TA&M and NU all at home. If we can take care of home field this year, we have a great chance. Those are all winnable games. Kst and Iowa st are winnable on the road. See what happens at Okie Light....who knows. Texas is probably a lose.

**** yea we can win the North. By the way, we are winning in CO nowl.

I think we have an outside shot, but we'll should have to see more than 13-24 from Hawkins before predicting we WILL win the North.

Do you think Iowa State was left off on purpose?

I don't know about on purpose, but I'm sure the Iowa St. fans are none to happy about it. Although I'm sure they know how bad their team is expected to be. Either way, it's getting dissed, and I wouldn't like it if they left the Buffs out of the poll. :wow:

Hell Yeah we can win the North! We have as much talent as anyone in the B12N, depth maybe not, but we got our big games at home. It is not impossible and very probable.

Dallas here we come! Shoulder to Shoulder!
