Bad QB situation for CSU

Not buying it, and neither should Hawk. This is a smokescreen. It's a motivational ploy to get his players pumped up and to try to get CU's players to let their guard down.

I don't think it's going to matter, though. One of the things Hawk has done well is getting the team on an even emotional keel.

To be fair to Fairchild we are eating up this QB "competition" the buffs are having.

That's only because we all got Hawk's memo.

Cody's passing game basically consists of tipped balls. Hansen gets sacked on 3 consequitive plays from a true freshman that just fell off the turnip truck. Speedy has an injured hammy. Our D-Line is young and inexperienced. CSU dominated in their bowl game and didn't even need CU's practice bubble. CU stayed at home and did a major reshuffle of their coaching staff. The WR position at CU is more shallow than a Paris Hilton lecture in and about the south platte. It's soooo bad that the sCUm are crying and screaming to a Kansas community college for help. What does CSU have to worry about, really? :smile2:

Sad thing is, every word of this is true.

This is, of course, the world's worst attempt at a smokescreen, reverse jinx, whatever you want to call it. I think Fairchild's got someone he really likes. It'll be great to see his face after the lammie's O trots off the field after the 3rd INT of the game.

Why the **** do you run the option there. Either try to jam in, or pass the ball.

Stucker is a mobile QB... but Fairchild is gonna have to watch his playcalling with absolutely no depth at QB

It's fortunate for CSU fans that they have a quarterback who's taken some snaps over the years, and understands the system. But concur, Slider, they've gotta be frightened by the lack of depth.

Stucker had some not-so-great stats in their scrimmage today. Who knows how either team is going to look come September 6th.

From what I hear about a friend who works within the athletic department, Fairchild isnt a fan of the agile QB's, doesnt mean he doesnt like Stucker, but he wants his QB to be a drop back NFL style. I think that he will hinder the QB performance by not utalizing the strengths of the players
