Any uniform changes this year?

I heard they're going to add just a bit more greenish tint to the helmets. Nothing confirmed just yet though.

That would just make too much sense, not to mention the fact that those were awesome uni's. And replace the Big 8 logo with the Big 12 logo, of course. :smile2:

I think it would be fitting to keep the BIG 8 logo now that we are going back to a....in your face, smash mouth running game.....GO BUFFS!!!!!

they'll prolly change after each game
We have to find out exactly who makes the uni decisions, and post his e-mail address on this thread. He or she or whoever has made an absolute mess. We have undoubtedly the ugliest uniforms we have had since the early 1980's powder blue nightmares. Those freakin pants are for clowns - what exactly is that $hit on the sides - it looks like some kids car with decals stuck on it.
No design just sticking something on with the end result of an eyesore.
Next move - gold field turf with black yard markers - welcome to Boise St. extension Boulder. I would like all Buff fans to demand we go back to the traditional uniforms.

They will be wearing throwback unis this year for the WYO game. They aren't sure which unis yet, but be prepared to see something different for that game.

Yea, but I guess that's what we get when Nike is fittin' the bill.

In honor of what?

I hope we go with the Hagan era look, not the black helmet w/ mustard jersey.

Boise State is the only school and will forever be the only school allowed to have turf a color other than green (they were "grandfathered" in). That said, the unis could be slightly better, but the color scheme is the same as it has been for 25 years and casual college football fans of schools other than CU probably wouldn't even notice much of a change. I actually think the white jerseys are pretty sweet. The black ones? Not so much.

The white on white is about the worst look I have seen us in lately. Those piss brown jersey was the worst though... I think that was the Baylor game in 99... Oh man, that was BAD!

I've always hated white on white uniforms. They look terrible on the Broncos and they look terrible on the Buffs.

You guys are old:smile2: The white on white looks clean imo. I really liked it for the Florida State game. I also heard something similar about the Buffs wearing something new (or old) for a game this year

How about the black helmets with a carbon fiber look to them with the white tops and black bottoms?

totally agreed.. We look like a softball team out there.. Hell I rather go back to the 70's look than the crap they have now..

The helmets in that game were bad ass though. I wouldn't mind seeing those helmets on an all black uni for a blackout game.

White on white looks ridiculous - with the gold helmets we look like a bunch of Camel Lights running around.

I'm all for the black helmets as long as we don't use those gold jerseys again. Those helmets were badass and recruits love that stuff.

I cant stand the white on white. I like Black and Gold for home, and White and Black for away. Keep the tradition, black out is OK once and a while!

its tough for some people to understand, but they are making these uniforms with the kids in mind, not us.

It's not tough to understand at all. Nobody asked us about the uniforms when I was around. I'm happy I got to keep a nice black jersey without any stupid looking clutter on it.
:smile2:

i would prefer a less cluttered jersey as well, but if it appeals to recruits and players, then it's fine with me.

Nike would laugh at the two dozen grumpy old men bitching about how the uniforms were better back in their day, while Nike is moving hundreds of thousands of the new ones every year.

Well, it's a CU jersey. has to be hundreds of thousands, right??:smile2:
