Poll of the day 8/21

Will CU return to the top 25 sometime this season?

  • Total voters
    115
I optimistically voted "yes". It's a matter of winning the games that we're supposed to, and most of the toss-ups. Oh, and staying healthy.

9 wins should have them inside the top 25. Win the games they are supposed to, and pull one upset and we are there.

Does finishing the season at NUMBER ONE count?

OH HELLZ YEAH!

I have a good feeling we will have a higher ranking than the Butthuskers when the season is over.

:yeahthat:I think we get ranked by winning the first four games of the season and never look back. I like this poll getting a lot of needed optimism.

I voted no, but am very hopeful. I still want to believe we will win 8 games this season (9 with a bowl win).

Realistically, I believe we crack the top 25 if we start 4-0. Unfortunately, I am attending the WVU game so this may be difficult since the Buffs haven't won a game I have attended outside of Colorado since the '89 beating of Oklahoma...and there have been quite a few. Good news - all of the games under Hawk have been very close and games we should have won (Georgia, Independence Bowl, NU last season)...so it could happen. AND NO...I AM WILL NOT BE CONVINCED TO NOT GO!

Anyways, if we were to lose to WVU, I see us sniffing the top 25 throughout the rest of the season with the occasional setback of an untimely victory knocking us back each time we get close.

Gawd I hope I am VERY wrong.

75% of the posters expected we'd be in the Top25, instead we lose to CSU and look pathetic in doing so.

It's not for lack of talent. There's no injury excuse to use. The officiating wasn't horrible.

The reason? Coaching. Our coach has given us nothing but empty promises, and it's time we started looking for another.

He's a ****er fan at heart, so him predicting the Buffs to suck ass isn't something surprising.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt based on the loads of propoganda that was spewed forth, most of us believed it and we're bamboozled.
