He brings up a very good point. You can talk all the talk...you can jive about how the program is doing things right...we have the right players....we have the right coaches and schemes...how its the little things we are not doing right that is killing us..BUT...when you fire up the film...there is one thing in football that doesn't lie..and it's the film. The kids look lost and confused...and THAT IS COACHING...right on Al. Can Al coach?

The doing an interview with Christensen now and Al conveniently asked him if he plays his best players or if he plays the guys who have seniority.

now Al is telling in state recruits to leave the state....F AL.
Al has not liked Hawkins from day one. Klatt is pissed that they fired GB. I'm not going to say anything bad about either because both were great Buffs.

Can they think of any other 80 year old former coaches to bring out of retirement?

Hey, Bill McCartney! Or Paul McCartney.

Hey, Bill McCartney! Or Paul McCartney.

Maybe we could lure Old Balls Snydley out of Manhattan...

Frank Kush? He'd bring some toughness...and outright abuse to Boulder

What about Jon Voight, he could at least act like a coach....

As DBT said, Alfred was never on Hawk's bandwagon. He might have toned it down for the first couple of years but the first sign of trouble you knew Alfred would come out firing against him.

Alfred is a great Buff, but it doesn't mean he isn't a clown as a media person..

What do Al and Scott call the show that they host together? Dumb and Dumber?

Al is a former Buff that is hating what is going on in Boulder. Scott is a wild card that is most of the time boring, I can listen to their crap on a good day, But if they talk Nuggets or Baseball, I turn the dial.

They never suggested that Lou Holtz, Switzer, Osbourne, or any of those other coaches should be the next CU coach. When I listened to it, they were saying that those guys gave you instant cred in the recruiting game and as a recruit you had to talk to them. I believe in that conversation they also mentioned Shanny, Urb, Mcartney, and a few others.
