Seems to be Hawk's favorite phrase these days. Recently, he was asked about whether we might see Nick Kasa against WVU. His response "We'll see". Asked about how much Scott will get the ball, his response was "We'll see".

So, I'm thinking about a few questions that might be appropriate for his new catch phrase:

"Coach, how will you spend your retirement"
"Coach, is there any chance CU will get any better with you running the show?"
"Coach, we have a ton of talent on this team, will they ever play?"
"Coach, how hard will it be to sell your house in this market?"

Feel free to add your own to the list. I'm sure there's plenty.

Are cashing those fat checks coach?

You OBVIOUSLY do not get how to play this game. I know this, because the answer to the question you posed would not be 'We'll see', but rather 'You bet your ass I am!! For at least three years more, too!!'

"Coach, will you ever figure out how to coach at this level"
"Coach, are the "little things" coming together yet"

Don't give me that, I'm doing all the right things, I am going to work, mowing my lawn, eventually, it will pop and I'll understand this game...:smile2:

How much money will it take to pry Kevin Sumlin away from UofH?

Assuming his wife doesnt hate Boulder, as was implied when he bolted Boulder in about 3 minutes last time around, then, I dont think much. I think contrary to what many seem to think on here, CU is a damn good job...not on par with Florida or OU, but, a damn good job. #16 winning percentage all time, and LOTS of recent success (GB era).
I heard UH's play-by-play guy on the radio in Oklahoma (right before the Oklahoma State-UH game) and he was asked about if Sumlin was going to be the long-term answer for the Cougs. The play-by-play guy seemed to imply, "doubt it". He said that UH is going to have to step WAY up and start caring a little big about football, have some facility upgrades, etc. I think he'd like to get to a Big 12 school, 50k plus stadium, BCS conference, great facilities (comparing to Houston, not Texas). I dont think we'd have to break the bank. And I LOVE the hire, I mentioned that I did on here BEFORE the upset of OSU and TTech. Guy is young, ethusiastic, great recruiter, etc. Would defintly be a hire I could be excited about.

Will Sumlin's wife change her mind about Boulder? or... Will the Sumlins move to Louisville instead of Boulder, owing to Mrs. Sumlin's stated dislike of the city?

fify - let's try to stay on topic here. :smile2:

I'm thinking Lafayette is a better fit for the Sumlins, due to the love of mexican food!:bandit:

Coach 'Hawk.

Are we going to beat WVU?

Will we win the Big XII North?

Will we have a winning record in the Big XII?

Will we win a single game vs. a Big XII opponent?

Are you coaching here next here?

Coach, any chance you get a real haircut?
Coach, it's week 4, why are you playing musical chairs with your OL?
Coach, any chance you'll stop coaching wr's?
Coach, any chance simmons can adjust to a 3yd curl?

Will anyone but Cody ever take a snap?
paired with
Will you try to get Cody a 5th year of eligibility?
leading to
Will you try to get Cody indefinite eligibilty?

Coach, I've noticed you have been responding to a lot of questions with, 'We'll see.' I was wondering if you plan on giving us a straight up answer anytime soon?

" I have to look at the execution of this question and keep adding answers and scale back on what's not working"

This is going to be my pregame for Thursday before the WV game. I'm grabbing my bottle of Jager and going to CUBUFFS.com and watching all of the video I can find and take a shot every time he uses "We'll See" as an answer. Should make the posibility of getting blown out more easier to take. I will DVR the game in case we win.

By the way, does any one have the number for Poison Control?

Coach, how do you think Mike Shannahan will do when he replaces you?

Or is that putting too much wishful thinking into a question?

Coach, why the pre-occupation with little things? I am sensing a deep-rooted issue dating back to when you were a teenager....

DallasBuff :rofl2: Do you work for the Goverment?:devil2:
As a matter of fact....yes! I work for a psuedo-govt agency....but, my background is far from that...thus, the cynical attitude!

My wife works for a psuedo- gov agency. she is cynical as well, that was the tip off!
Hopefully, she completely sees through the BS....and hopes to get back into the real world sometime soon!
