I was in nebraska for game day last week (I'll post my observations from my day in hell later), and they did seem to be dressed nostalgically. I'd peg the timeframe as just about 1979 for most of the retro-garb.

It must have been throwback Saturday on my previous visits as well...

Doesn't nostalgic flannel look a lot like current flannel? :smile2:

i don't think these guys are gay....i just think they are wearing the dresses their wives/girlfriends can no longer fit into....:wow::lol:

Talk about some freaks...

Unfortunately, even those "guys" are probably tougher than our OLine........

And then someone's gonna attack you for this remark and you'll moan about how you're chastised because your opinions are unpopular and you're not on the Hawk bandwagon. But really, people aren't responding to the content of your opinions, but rather how you express them.

Lighten up, Francis. This is a pretty light-hearted thread.

Maybe I'm too liberal for this thread but I have no issues with these photos. They show a light-hearted side of Husker fans and are a lot less embarrassing than most of the straight-laced conservative farmer type pictures I usually see. :smile2:

Looks like kameltoe left his white trash city he lives in and made it out to another white trash place to watch some football and wear a dress and some makeup.

It was a fundraiser. I think donors were allowed to choose the outfits that the men had to wear.

lol at the poster who said they were tougher than your OL.

Yeah, mania is a lot funnier if you're a husker fan.

Walrus: You were at the Nebraska vs ULL game. Damn, I knew you were a closet Husker fan.:lol::lol: You should have looked me up. I would have bought you a cold one or two. It was a great day for football!

Good luck against West Virginia!

Nope. I was trying to keep my wife's husker fan and documented spouse-beating grandmother from attacking her wheelchair bound husband.

It was a grand day in the prairie-dog state, I assure you. I especially liked the part where she made fun of me for being a Colorado fan, or better yet when she extolled the virtues of runza. She's had more visits from nebraska's finest than Mo Purify and Lawrence Philips combined. I'm not making this **** up.

I was not at the game, however. Sorry to disappoint.

Well, if you ever make it back to a game in Lincoln without your "wife's husker fan and documented spouse-beating grandmother", I would still buy you a cold one, even though you are a Buff fan. I will add that I should buy you a cold one "because" you are a Buff fan.

It has tough so far this season being a Buff fan. As a Husker fan, I know how many of your persuasion must feel. I am still trying to forget the 2007 season.

And I'd punch you right in your ****ing ovary.

**** my ***! I will just have buy a cold one for someone else then. Can't say I didn't ask! You can stay in the alley back behind the bar and drink the left overs from the bottom of the empty cans.:lol:

Really, there's no other way to get a beer in lincoln? Only you can buy?

Thanks for the offer. Maybe I'll take you up on it and then punch you in the ovary. Then I'm chucking a pissbomb at your grammy.

shhhhh she is a corn fan

Ahh, yes, back to your gayness.

Yes, I can laugh at the Neb freaks and still poke fun at my own team. Guess what? If our OLine was as good as some of you swore it would be, there wouldn't be any room for jokes.

Unfortunatley, that was just more smoke being blown up peoples' asses.
