Thanks Valdez - it doesn't look like he's on anybodys radar yet. I'll be seeing him play tonight.

BTW - He's wearing Pericak's number.

Is this kid fast? He looks like you could put 35 lbs on him, no problem.

You're missing the Buffs game? I'm sure you'll be recording it.

Yup. I freaking HATE Thursday night games. This is the 2nd one of the year, too. The DVR is set to record, so I won't miss the CU game. I just have to avoid getting any scores before I get home.

Just don't answer the phone, check text msgs...ect. It might be hard, because you might get some updates at the BHS game from others in attendance.

listen to some counting crows on the drive home so you dont run the risk of a dj blabbing the score.

This is going to be a bigger task than the Buffs are facing tonight. Godspeed.

Boulder played Legacy last Thursday night. Legacy doesn't seem to have lost much since Kasa left. Big, strong, fast, well coached. They beat BHS like a drum 42-3. Wishner had a decent game, but there's only so much one player can do. When he's the only guy on the field that the opposing team has to account for, he gets neutralized pretty effectively.

As a person close to the Wishner family, Andrew has enrolled at CU and has every intention of walking on to the team in 2011. He would have walked on this year, but a bout with mono and a surgically repaired shoulder have nicked that idea. I will link below to his highlight tape on youtube, but must say that the tape itself is not overly impressive as he was blitzed on 70% of snaps at BHS last season and the tape its self consists of highlights from only 3 games. Coaching staff could not even provide game film from all 10 games played so that a player could do a job in which they failed. I can also confirm that he is in fact 6'1" tall, not 5'11" as stated on the tape itself. It is a shame that the coaching staff at BHS did not do more to get their talent recruited to play at CU, Blake Gouin, brother of current CU linebacker Brandon Gouin was one of the more electrifying players I have seen with a football lately.

Welcome to Allbuffs, Coloradokid and Welcome to the Buffs, Andrew!

Having talked to several players (at CU and elsewhere) who had difficulty getting game tape from their HS coaches, I feel for him. There is no substitute for great highlight tape, and if your coach is unable or unwilling to provide it, the player's task of getting noticed has just become monumental.

But I'm going to concentrate on the good news - that Andrew gets an opportunity to do what few players get to do: wear the black and gold. Congrats on a great decision and look forward to seeing him on the field soon.

Wishner is a player. You'll also see some sacky highlites in these clips. I've got mad chain gang skillz.
