I generally have respect for Nebraska players.... certainly Tommie Frazer I admired greatly......

however, this kid is such a cocksucker.... what was he doing when he stood in the middle of the field with his legs together and hands straight out to the side after all 3 of his touchdown passes? was he trying to strike a jesus pose?

I certainly want CU to handle this kid.... but I fear we will get mauled by them and I will have to deal with that pose about 6 times in our game....

well, i cant stand individual celebrations when his whole team helped him on that play.... it is why i despise fanatsy football and hated TO when he was in Philadelphia....

His celebration was... look at me....

never saw that before from a Husker QB.

he basically did the same thing TO did on the Dallas Star at mid field
 
I'm not big on "cocky, look at me" celebrations either. But I don't know that he was being cocky about it. I'd like to think he was just celebrating. But who knows.
 
I laughed when he did that after throwing his second TD. The throw was ****ty and his receiver bailed him out of what should have been and pick, and he was acting like he was a god. Give me a break.

I would doubt you would see Cody stand in the middle of the field with the look at me pose. Say what you want about Cody, but he's not that guy.

I hate when the Broncos celebrate too much, and they are my team as well, so yes, I probably would say something about Cody if he was doing that.

He didn't do the TO pose. His feet were not together. It was more like a Chuck Liddell celebration after a knockout.

Probably not but this is a CU board, what do u expect? Cody never throws touchdowns for one but ,when he does, he celebrates with his team. What is it with all u Nebraska guys lately? I wont really say u because you have been here awhile and have good posts generally.

Come on with the old, "this is a buff board" thing. I know it is and I'm not trying to be a dick just asking a general question. My problem is no matter what we do whether it's good or not there's always an excuse for how we did it or some type of gripe. Just an observation, not wanting to start a war of words with someone. :thumbsup:

He was going to get pulled . . . Watson said himself that he had Green warming up on the sideline to go in for a series. Watson said he wanted Lee to "watch for a bit." Luckily for Lee and Nebraska he hit that long pass to Niles Paul on the series before he got pulled.

No, that's fine I'll take your word on it. I find it hard to believe they would consider putting a true freshman in a big game like that with little experience, but Lee wasn't playing the greatest, but that wasn't all his fault. The offensive line didn't play the greatest and I lost count on how many passes hit receivers in the hands and they dropped. Sure the conditions sucked, but if it hits you in the hands you need to catch it, that's your job.

Yeah. I don't think it would have been a good idea. Then again . . . it'd fit well with all of the other terrible calls Watson made. :(

Passing the ball in a downpour against a team that is terrible against the run. WTF.
