Say Hawk gets 4 or 5 wins this year

If we don't make a bowl game, would some new AC's satisfy you for another year?

  • Wouldn't even need new AC's, give Hawks' crew another year!

No way. The BS is coming from the top of the pile, not from the bottom.

How often does an overhaul of assistants while retaining the HC actually work? Not often. Why not?

Typically, when things faulter as bad as we've seen them, it's the HC. He's the man in charge. He's the one at the top, responsible for everything. And most importantly in this discussion, he's the one who hired and kept the assistants he has.

We need a new HC. Changing a few assistants isn't going to do much good.

Whoa. Slow down. Let's get win # 2 before engaging in any crazy-talk about 4 or 5.

33% winning percentage on the season? Crazy talk.

Get your expectations in line. We should be happy with 3 wins and a top 85 recruiting class.

:lol::thumbsup: +1

This POS joke must be ran out, I thought we were going to grab pitchforks and torches anyways?

No one forget the keg. Bonfire at Hack's house.

The truth is, if we won the rest of the games here on out, Hawkins would stay. Simple as that, it would be clear evidence he was turning the program around. You could argue all you want about screwups in the past, but if we win 4 in a row, the point would be made that he knows what he was doing.

Agreed. The odds of this happening? You would sooner see a small child floating away in a balloon toward DIA.....

But alas much like that child was actually missing from said balloon so are there any hopes of squawkins succeeding at this level, let alone winning out.

Agreed. I think even if he ended up 7-5 and won the Big 12 North that he'd be around for another year.

Let me guess who voted to bring back hawk and his whole crew next year..

CHILLY
****BRASKA TROLLS

I don't suppose I was expecting ten wins this season by any stretch of the imagination but I was expecting more than four or five.

I would have a hard time being satisfied with this. I expected more and I don't think that makes a guy negative and non-supportive. This team should have been better than it has been.

I wouldn't be surprised in some teams haven't pulled in their horns and made CU look good just to keep Hawkins around. I doubt any of CU's opponents would mind having a guaranteed win on their schedule for years to come.

Easy to see your view of the matter. I think teams have much more to gain by beating the unholy crap out of us. Better bowls, better inducement for recruiting, bragging rights, the jubilance of seeing our fall from grace. They can always schedule a patsy from D2 for a gimme win. So why would they miss an opportunity to lay a major whuppin on us
