Is it just me or are we a soft football team, especially on the oline? I was never a real big GB fan going all the way back to the second Orange Bowl. I believe that was his first game at OC though, was it not? Could be wrong about that but Ive seen that game a bunch and thought that was the case? Anyway, one thing we could always do when GB was here is run the football. Our oline looks lost 90% of the time. Solder raises straight up alot, even on running plays. Dude is 6'9", somebody please show him how to come off the ball. I know they are young but my goodness.

Seriously. With Solder as tall as he is, he could just fall forward and create two yards of space. If he powered forward and managed two steps, it is five yards right there.

I want to avoid insulting the players. Especially since I know we've got some tough SOBs playing for us and they don't deserve this.

The offensive philosophy is very finesse. In addition, the head coach does not believe in playing with adrenaline / emotion. Also, after last year the coaches have tried very hard to avoid practice injuries. Finally, the head coach does not believe in live tackling in practice.

I believe all of this is easily fixed with a regime change and that this could be a very hard-nosed football team.

Im not insulting the guy and saying he isnt capable. I wanna see what he can do with some technique. Damn if we have that pussified of a philosophy, we should have fired him a year ago. I do agree, by the way, but these guys need a whole spring and fall camp to change that. Physical ability will only take you so far. Hell, I wanna see what these guys can do when they know what to do and how to do it.
