I went other for Ray Polk. To transition to the safety spot is tough, and I think he's going to be a great one.

At the start of the season he was not even in the conversation on D line. I remember some talk about "natural position" etc.
He was a freight train in high school as a linebacker, average at best at TE, and never, to my knowledge played DT. Considering he had to put on 50 lbs to play DT, and that the coaches originally wanted to play him at TE, I'd say that the discussion was warranted. I'm thrilled that he's starting and playing well.
I'm liking what I'm seeing from this DL so far, though. They are young, fast, and angry at the internet sCUm. Against the pass happy offenses of the Big 12, that's a good thing to have.
