and its not even close. Something is (was?) seriously wrong with DS this year. No lateral movement, slower start, no confidence. I watched the fall scrimmage and he was different then too. So whatever hes been trying (forced?) to play through, it has been seriously detrimental to his abilities, or at least, he plays like it does.

Wonder what the whole story is on his knee? Really unfortunate. Perhaps another year that should have been a RS....

I thought he looked great in the spring game compared to his few carries this year. Hopefully he comes back after the surgery and tears things up. I don't expect much from him this year. I would rather see him heal up properly. Here's to next season.

I also thought that he looks great in spring. He looked fast and appeared to be in great shape.

I wonder when the knee first got hurt. If it was in the CSU game, he should have been held out and given the medical RS. Instead he sees limited action and now misses 3-4 additional games.

I read that he hurt the knee on the opening kickoff return against Toledo.

That would explain why he got run down from behind in that game - the play that his haters love to use to illustrate how he doesn't run hard or something...

 he looked slow after that kickoff.

I dont hate the player I hate the hype.

I hate the guy who doesn't put a fullback or two in front of him and give him the ball 20-25 times a game from a power formation. Sadly, the way we use him, he won't be missed on the field.

Oh, and using him for KR was stupid from the beginning! Put a shorter shifty type fast back out there to return kicks. I think we have one of those too.

Well, if he really has been injured this season it's hard to see him transferring because they seemingly haven't played him due to that. Who knows at this point.
