on FSC @ 11:30 am

I guess everybody loves a good trainwreck. Still, I love to see my Buffs, even when they hurt me.

Great news. For recruiting, if nothing else, we need to be on TV in Texas. And I want that aTm game badly. ****ing Von Miller with his takeout of Speedy and his bragging about it afterward. I hope we kill those no-class bastards.

****. That station blows ****ing chunks.

Reminds me of a joke.

A man walks into a bar and asks the bartender for a case of beer, any kind except Schlitz. The bartender says "What's wrong with Schlitz, don't you like it?" The man says, "I hate that ****. Last night I drank a whole case of Schlitz and blew chunks. The bartender says, "You drink a case of any beer you're going to blow chunks." "You don't understand;" says the man, "Chunks is my dog."

Yea, FSC is a &#$*ing juicebox. Their commentators are terrible. Did anyone else hear the pre-game audio before the KSU game they screwed up? The commercials are extremely BUSH league too. It's fun to flip to ESPN HD during a commercial to be reminded how football is supposed to be watched.

I'm glad for FCS because at least it lets me watch the Buffs. I just wish they'd upgrade their 1993 cameras.

On a side note, the "QB guru" announcer guy, is he pretty credible? He talked like he was a big time QB coach and was constantly talking about what he'd do in certain situations.

The picture quality on FSC is what bugs me the most, looks like they're using equipment from the '80s. I also wish that someone would twitter something inappropriate to Samantha Steele during the game when she's reading her blog or what ever. She says, "This question is from BuffNut, he says, "Hi Samantha, can you make me a Ba-low-me sandwich?"

The demographics for FCS viewers must be all balding guys trying to finance their hair regeneration through pawning off their old gold jewelry, because that is 100% of the ads on that channel.

Samantha Steele knows how to conduct a good filibuster on the sideline while the game goes on virtually unnoticed in the background.

True, I can't argue with Samantha Steele. Perhaps they could show her more, instead of just her voiceovers.

:wow:Thanks for reminded me. I had already forgotten how terrible they were.

They also need to improve their little inset that shows how much time is left in the quarter because you can't read that damm thing. :sad2:

So only those who saw the Kstate game will be able to see this one right?

Yes.

Samantha Steele should be a cure for that. :hitit:

This puts every CU game on national television this year, with the possible exception of the ISU game. Have we ever been on national tv this much?

Can we get a few games with ND in the future? Alex Flanagan in HD certainly wouldn't be too hard on the eyes.

It's not national television if only 26 people get to watch it.

Agree. With the huge expansion of sports packages I consider network and basic cable to be national broadcasts.

That said, we got a lot of ESPN and FSN love this year. For better and worse.

I miss the Big 8 days because back then every game that wasn't nationally televised was at least carried on channel 4 locally. I think that was part of why the program used to be more popular throughout the state.

No doubt, for me "National TV" means anyone in the country can turn on the TV and watch the game with a pair of rabbit ears.

One of my big problems with CU has been that every game should be on one of the big 4 broadcast stations in the entire state of Colorado. Nothing is more annoying than CU playing and the only thing on TV is another big12 game.

You clearly don't understand the broadcast packages that the conferences negotiate, do you?

No, I know how they work, I just think they are total crap when CU is playing and I am stuck watching two other Big 12 schools.

CU should be on a local channel all the time no matter what. If ESPN or some random FOX channel or whoever wants to pick it up too then let them broadcast it but there is no reason why every game can't be shown in Colorado instead of an infomercial about knives.

Yes - this decade we've had a few years with this many games on Natl TV, but that includes some CCGs and Bowl games.
