Stop if you have heard this before

espy was seen flossing his teeth just before the game. that gave him the edge over taler, faster, stronger, shiftier returners

Yep, how we can be so god d*** terrible on ST again is just beyond me. ST is pretty basic football, tackling, assignments, lanes. The coaches inability to teach this crap really tells me they just can't coach.

Riddle is the highest paid asst coach right?

This is why you don't put your friends at Assistant Coaching positions. I hope Bohn puts enough pressure on Hawk to fire him or fires him himself.

I was glad to see Simmons finally get an opportunity to return punts. They need to keep with that. For some reason, though, he looked like he was confused/rusty/tentative. Weird. Especially for a guy that was his JUCO team's punt returner the past 2 years.

P.S. Jaffee looked like he's our best kickoff returner until Darrell gets back.

It honestly looked to me like they knew they couldn't continue running Espy out there. That last punt he got where he failed to get to the corner against a LBer just sealed it.

so it took them about 100 times of Espy not being able to get to the corner before they decide, wow, we must make a change..

Frickin idots. :sad2:

now that Simmons was seen back there, it sort of just psstes me off more now that they acknowledge that espinoza isn't good enough. What took them so ****ing long? I, along with many other fans, have been clearly seeing that he's not fast enough. Our blocking is actually good - we have lanes and walls set up many times. However, how the **** did it take the coaches this long to figure out that Simmons, Lockridge, etc. need to be back there? Once again, the coaches have a LOT to prove.

Even if we get decent of players or the right ones out there, does anyone really trust this staff to coach them or get the most out of them?
