Big milestone today for Talkins!!!!!

4-14 vs our main competition. I'm not sure a single other coach in the country doesn't get fired after that. No rebuilding job is that big.

Look at the bright side, for every 2 losses, he wins a game.

2 steps back...BUT 1 STEP FORWARD BABY!

I'm going all in on a win vs A&M.

yep, we've had our two losses, time for a win!

Ohhhh, that sets up a possible victory over Nu then! Lose our next two against ISU and OSU and it's time for another win again when NU visits.

Thats the pattern folks!

Well that puts us right at 4 wins this year. Slightly short of preseason expectations, but gosh we're young and someday we'll figure out how to tell our giant OL how to block.

In other good news, Simmons is really tearing it up this year. I knew we could count on him for big things this year!

Just gotta get our horns out, but gosh darnit, we're close! 9 sacks today, but thats ok, it's just little things!

Maybe we'll teach some more sandmoving in practice, that seems to be working.

I'm surprised that his goal was only "Lose twice as many as I win" because, with his unique talents, I think he could have gone for Three or Four. Kevin Steele at Baylor was aiming for that. So was his successor, Guy Morriss. Hawk's really gonna suffer with all of those victories.

After the WVU game last year, Hawkins was 11-16 overall at CU despite the 2-10 start. This thing has collapsed.
