In his own words: Talkins felt game against Tigers "monumental"

Both have young rosters, each with just six senior starters. Both have a sophomore quarterback still finding his way. Both start three sophomores along the offensive line. And both have found it difficult to establish the running game.

Colorado coach Dan Hawkins has called today's game "monumental" in importance. Missouri's Gary Pinkel all but said the same thing.

In a game that Talkins believed was "monumental" we fell behind 33-0 in the first half..

Remember that Bohn and Destefano when you even consider bringing this asshat back next year.

Yeah, if you are going to make bold talk, you'd better ****ing back it up, eh?

That's all the guy is - talk. He doesn't know any other way of operating.
For a long time, I've kind of worried that this is true, but hoping that it is not. I've had a difficult time getting passed his past record.

Hawk is a horrible "talker". In the corporate world, he would be banished in short order. What a pathetic joke.

Gerry Faust had a great record in high school.. Doesn't mean he should have been coaching at ND.

Add into the fact that Boise State has taken it to another level once Talkins has left further indicts Talkins as all talk and no results.

At least Coach Hawkins is understanding, going into games, that they are monumental - that they have some importance.

I'm sorely disappointed that he didn't see fit to have the team ready to play in the First Half like he decided to start them in the 2nd. At the same time, the home crowd got to see Coach Hawkins' prove his mettle as a coach and as a leader of this program. Again. And again. And again.

"I'm taking Colorado to the next level," as he said.
