any truth to the rumor suh got a DUI last night? sorry don't have a link just saw it on another board.

A guy that size must have to drink a flippin' keg to get his BAC high enough. Hope it's not true. That young man's got an amazing future in front of him if he makes the right choices.

Yeah they are flipping out over on ****erboard but the info seems to be coming in from Twitter and Facebook......

Good God, the accident report sounds like one of those horror show nightmares. He swerves to miss a small animal and winds up hitting 3 parked cars! Picture him hanging on the the steering wheel for dear life wondering if this is ever going to end!! No wonder the cops checked his blood alcohol. I'd love it if he didn't play our game, but I don't want anything awful to happen to him!! He is such a monster!

Whatever.

.035 isn't a dui.
:yeahthat:
But....does Nebraska have one of those laws like Texas (and I think Colorado too) of DWAI (driving while ability impaired) where the limit is .03?
Just asking. Also, if I screwed up CO and TX with those laws, please forgive me as I've lived in 8 different states in the last 13 years (thanks USN!)

Going sinker....

Colorado's DWAI is at .05 which is the most strict limit in the nation.

EDIT: Great, my 5,000th post is about ****ing DUI's.

In Iowa we have what's called an .02 violation. If you're caught driving impaired and you have a BAC above .02, but below .08 you have what is called an administrative violation. This means there is no criminal side to it, but there is a driving side with the Department of Transportation and you will lose your license for a period of time. With Nebraska being a bordering state I would imagine they would have something similar to this.

No, Nebraska doesn't have this exact sort of law, but it sounds like it makes sense to me. It could save lots of time for the court system.

If bordering states shared the same laws, than wouldn't at least 48 states have the exact same laws?

You should really talk to somebody in law-enforcement, maybe they could help straighten out your flawed logic.
