:woot: You guys are awesome! Way to give it up for the Buffs!

Since no one else gives a ****, I'll say this. These kids showed pure heart today. This game was tough. aTm is going to be for real next year. They have looked great the prior two weeks. We were down. When they kicked that last FG, my friend behind me said "it is over." But we ****ing came back and won the damned game! And you know what, I give all the credit to those young men. And if you ****ers want to sit and bitch about this and that and keep calling for Hawkin's head, then **** you. And don't put me down for defending Hawkins. It isn't about that. I'm not defending him. I'm saying that we should take some time to pat the men on the back and let them know that we appreciate their heart.

If you hadn't said "no one else gives a ****" I would have repped you for ^^THIS^^.

:stupid:

good win and fun game to watch.

Well, maybe I overstated that. So give me my ****ing rep!

No, it is just that I had been at the game, and a great game it was. I figured this site would be over the top in joy. I was wrong.

Gray and Michael are going to be very good. And whoever #7 is that dude can flat out fly. Tons of speed on that team.

****ing great win. I ****ing loved every second of it up until the students rushed the field. **** yes. Happy now dickwad?

The Aggies and Buffs were well matched.
Any time teams exchange the lead multiple times makes for good drama.
I haven't enjoyed a game this much since some of those epic CSU games several seasons ago.

Coming into the game, I didn't know if the team that beat KU would show up, or if it would be the KSU/Mizzou edition.

While it was a big relief that the team has alot of fight left in them, my joy is tempered by the reality that the Buffs need to string 12 more hard fought quarters to be bowl eligible.

Let's get those road wins and finish strong in Boulder on T+1.

True joy is finishing this 3-6 season with a 4 game winning streak.

3 wins so far does not give me any joy though I am happy we won today. If we can win out I'll gladly change my tune.

I will tell you that was one of the more fun games I have attended in a couple of years. The folks that stayed home missed a truly exciting, back and forth, hard fought football game. The kids did not quit and I expected them to, I admit I did. Simas and Hansen looked like they grew up some today. Speedy was Speedy, freaking great. The officiating was terrible. Speedy almost go his head torn off and no penalty. The crowd got into the game and was pretty loud for being such a small, late arriving crowd.

As for my thoughts surrounding the coaching staff, no change. Time to go. This changes nothing. It is still has been 4 years of continual losing. They need to celebrate and enjoy this win as it was a very nice win. Does it fix the 4 years of crap we have seen and listened to, absolutely not. Hope the list is being worked on and refined.

I understand that and do not disagree. However, when we win, especially like today, we could at least take, maybe, a little time to cheer, thank the guys, and find some positives.

Maybe we should rush your front yard.

speedy with the ball in his hands is electric. speedy blocking needs some serious work.

and the officiating totally sucked. they finished the game owing us at least two make-up calls. that first down spot was a ****ing joke.

Your absolutely right it was a great win. I haven't seen fire and heart like this all season.

I think that is why I have a weird overall feeling about this win.

It is: awesome and inspiring.
It is puzzling: why I don't feel I've seen anything like it this season. Why not before now??
It is confusing: I'd love to feel this team and staff have turned the corner, but reluctant to give it my full blessing because we could just as easily lose and look sucky next week.
I am cautious: I don't hate Hawkins at all, I want him to succeed, but I don't want him to stay if the program is going to suffer for it.

Great win, weird feelings about - I'm still fan in mourning.

No one wants the players to suffer...but everyone wants Hawkins gone (except for you) even if they pull out a win.

Nothing has changed....he still needs to go.

I don't care if he goes or not.

I thought most of the posts today were pretty positive considering we're 3-6. Most are quite happy to see an offense that can move the ball down the field and seeing the younger players on the team coming up big. There have been some negatives, but again.. we're 3-6, they'd be a lot more positive if we were 6-3

I guess I missed them. Could you point me there?

Honestly, I'm wanting to see Hawkins finish out the season and be judged on the body of his work. Should the team "pop" and win out, and should the players rally around Hawkins, then I'm okay holding Bohn and DiStephano to their word and trust them to fairly evaluate Hawkins.

Really? I can't understand that anyone would want him back no matter what happens at this point.
