Who do you want to play in our BCS Bowl Game?

Screw you! We win out, and then beat t.u.:smile2:

I say, Boise State, if they can sneak in ahead of TCU.

yeah, some sec team. and then beat them by like 40... since we are dreaming and all... :smile2:

I'd love to play Georgia Tech. With a month to prepare, I believe that Foster, Brown & Cabral would have us ready for the option and it would be a good game.

Also, it would be a chance to beat the program that likes to pretend it won a MNC in 1990.

:wow: We never seem to take it one step at a time. It will take some careful planning and some help.

Then we can talk about who we will play.

My choice, when we do it. Bama.

You know how funny that would be if we won out and beat Texas? A 6 loss team with a guaranteed BCS bowl game. :rofl2:

Notre Lame. Need a rubber match. 1-1 bowl record against them.

I'm not looking this up, but we played them in 89 and 90 obviously, but didn't we crush them later, in the 95ish Fiesta Bowl?

This was the same Fiesta Bowl Committee who wrapped their lips around the Domers' domes again in 2000 and sent them to their Erickson led Oregon State slaughter.

I looked it up, and by golly Wally, you're right. I'd forgotten all about that.

Its not about the contest. Its about ticket sales and traveling well. Remember the bowls were started by the chamber of commerce and have never been recognized by the NCAA. The idea was to bring money into town and they still function in that manner.

We crushed them in '95 41-24. It was Mac's last game at the end of the '94 season. Lou was out 2 seasons later after going 8-3 (dumb ass Irish fans (check that he left ND on his own terms because his wife was diagnosed with cancer)). They broke out the special Green uni's to try and inspire a win. A fitting opponent and a fitting end for Mac's career. It was also, sadly, the end of the peak of Colorado Football as an era.
