ISU and Clete Blackman

Ex nub player who was the ref for the game where the field goal timing got all f-ed up a couple of years ago.

After reading the rules, several times I gained the impression that Blakeman had to choose to not spot the ball the first time our Buffs tried to kick the field goal, until CU snapped the ball and take the penalty. The second time he had to choose to roll the clock. He really had a choice, and as I read the rules he chose to let time run out rather than let CU kick a tying filed goal.

It was weird.

Isn't he an NFL official now?

Yea, Blakeman is now roaming the fields on Sundays...he's a field judge or a back judge or something like that...fortunately theres no way he can torment us again this Saturday...

He screwed us I thought but that game should have never come down to that. You dont blow a 21-0 lead against Iowa St. That was the year Hawk thought he was Mike Leach going for it on 4th down no matter where they were on the field or the score.

just unbelievable bad football from Dan. no reason to pop or get in a rhythm when you are up 3 scores. that was our best hawk team, though. 6 wins.

it's all been dash rip-rock since then. but, power blue means hate from the fans and the internet scum.
