Probably would have been announced by now, right?

:sad1:

Any chance it gets picked up this week?

hells no :sad1:. However, considering the season we have had, its pretty amazing to me that we will have only one game not on TV (FYI, that is less then UT!)

:yeahthat:

We don't have to much to complain about as far as being on TV, even if 2 of them were on FCS, at least we still got to see those 2 games. And I think last year there were only 2 games that weren't on TV (EWU and A&M).

fire bohn now :smile2:

So if the game isn't on TV anywhere, why can't CU broadcast it for free on their website? I know the thing is being filmed. I really hate this Big12 contract.

Because, like everything everyone does that annoys you, it's done to intentionally piss you off.

here are the reasons:

1. the tv networks want you to be forced to watch other games rather than your non-televised game.

2. if you won't do 1., then the schools want you to pay to listen to the paid feed on the radio.

it isn't just the b12 contract-- it is all the contracts. altho some are better than others... they used to have a "local" option so that the game could be shown in the team's market onlyif the networks didn't pick a game up, but that's increasingly rare.

I was visiting my daughter at her college and didn't have access to a tv. I "watched" the game by refreshing the espn game summary on my blackberry. My wife threatened me with divorce, but I was strong and hung in until the end. It was a tension-filled way to "watch" a close game.

Last night, I watched the replay. Truth is, the blackberry experience was better. As others have said, the video quality was horrible. Also, seeing the penalties or sacks on every first down was worse than reading about them....

I have "watched" on the ESPN game cast as well. Kind of funny watching the little lines move up and down the field. Kind of similar to that stupid hand held electronic football game from that late 70's where you moved the little red dots around to score TDs. I can still vividly remember the day the obnoxious beeping pissed off my dad so much that he crushed it into pieces. :sad1:

Not that similar...that was pretty stupid technology, in hindsight. I can "watch" the Buffs on Saturdays on my iPhone with Gamecast. That old technology only served to piss off my younger brother as I pummeled his sorry ass into the ground (little bro..hope you are reading this!).

This site says it's not scheduled for national tv yet. But what do they know - they have Montana playing twice on Saturday:

Northern Colorado at Montana 1:00 p.m. KPAX-Montana's News Stations
Sacramento State at Montana 1:00 p.m. Max Media-Montana

I want to see this. I have never seen a team play against two other teams at the same time.

I am impressed.

i signed up for the radio stream through the AD website. so far, i have been unable to get it. do they not stream the pre-game? only starts once the game starts?
