I've bled silver, black and gold long before Dan Hawkins arrived, I will bleed silver, black and gold long after Dan Hawkins is gone. I witnessed the good (Mac years) I've witnessed the bad (the Hawk era) and the ugly as well (The "scandal")

I'm still here. I'll still be here. I'll be here till the day I die.

Go Buffs! Better days are ahead:drink2::thumbsup:

Right on. If I may.....if the scandal was the ugly, then the Fairshanks era was the hideous.

Flyer, I couldn't have said, what you just said, any better myself.

Regardless of wheather or not everyone here on this site agrees with the opinons expressed by every allbuffer. We all share one strong bond together. We all bleed the black & gold of our CU Buffalos.

I was about to type on this this same post verbatim in DBT's "Vibes thread"and remembered I posted this last year while staring 3-9 in the face. Point remains. I can be pissed at the on the field results, but I am a Buffalo!!!

Shoulder to Shoulder

Thanks, I'm with you :shakehands:

After all, I've got a closet full of black and gold gear, and a garage full of programs, photos, and CU memorabilia. If we can get through Fairbanks, 82-42, and Colorado Sky Blue, we can get through this.

Checking out the depth chart ... I see a brighter future!

Went to my first game when I was four years old. The first game I remember was against Wichita State in 1974 (or thereabouts). I grew up going to CU football games. When I went to high school, I knew where I wanted to go to college. I was a Buff before I even knew it. Just last week, I took my daughter up to campus. I just wanted to walk around the place. There's something theraputic about being there. Dan Hawkins can go f*ck himself, for he knows not what it means to be a Buff. I know what it means. I'll never forget.

Hear, Hear. Whenever I fly in I have to go to campus. I usually like to do it more than once but if once a trip is all I get then it is worth it. I witnessed some pretty crap years of football and atmosphere on campus but the good memories far out weigh the bad.

Once a Buff, always a Buff. Not many non-CU people understand that but I believe that in every fiber of my being. I don't find that on many other campuses either. There is something electric at CU. All the crap I take for being a Californian and attending CU , the "party school" from friends, friend's parents, former teachers, and random others I meet(and there is a lot of it) doesn't even hold a candle to the memories, experiences and people I met and continue to meet as a Buff. Just my two cents, call me jaded if you will but I think lots of students, alumni and people connected to CU would agree.

Shoulder to Shoulder. Bleed silver and gold, always.

How can't tell you how often, when I tell someone I went to CU, they say "that must have been. AWESOME!". I'm I'm like, "yep, pretty much". Some folks concentrate only on the football, but overwhelmingly they understand that I was part of something very, very cool, and a majority of those folks demonstrate something that looks suspiciously like envy.

The football team is a link to our school, and the Buffs are my favorite team in my favorite sport. So I'm there for them thick or thin for the team--it hurts when they lose and I love the victories. But obviously being a Buff is being part of the entire University system which is bigger than the football team.

GO BUFFS! Pissbombs forever!

I have been watching the Buffs since, I would say '93-'94. Before that it was all Broncos for me. But the Black, silver and Gold fever caught me quick and loved them ever since. I missed out on some great years but, I do everything I can at every chance I get to make up for the yrs before. I was finally able to go to my first collegiate game last season when the Pokes hosted my Buffs in Stillwater (yes I'm in Oklahoma lol) and didn't want to miss the chance. I try to watch, listen to or see every game I can. My wife and I were visiting her family in Georgia and I made them record the CU/Neb game do to the fact we were going to be out of the house and you better believe EVERYoNE watched the game with me when we got back. Ha! That was the game when we came back and destroyed them at Folsom in '08 I think. I will Always be a Buff.

GO BUFFS!!!!!
