The O is different with TH and Simas...thsoe two are starting to click. CU still can't run the ball worth a ****.

Another game right there for the taking left on the table by stupid penalties and overall sloppy play.

Had ZR been in the game, this one would not have likely been close.

CU must have the world record for hitting the uprights. Honestly, they need to reinforce those things, all that pounding is going to make them collapse during a game one day, and somebody will get hurt.

Hawk maintains his even keel returning to .333, with a not to high, not to low, 16-32 overall mark as HC.

I don't even get jazzed up for games anymore, although I did feel like the team played hard, and that was nice to see.

At least Givens didn't get sent to the Macchu Picchu doghouse for last week's episode. IMO, he's the best OL CU has.

Sure would have been nice to see a larger back (DS) try and get some carries, maybe break a tackle.

I wish someone could explain why BLock does not get more carries at RB. His KR was sweet, and he showed some great speed. IMO he is another in a long list of playmakers that should see the field much more than he does.

they said on the radiot that Aric Goodman as his SEVEN uprights in his CU career. That is ridiculous

We were very much in the plus side as far as turnovers go and they literally couldn't complete a pass for an entire half. We still lost is what is really sad.

I'd bet that you could give any kicker in the NCAA as many attempts as Aric has to purposely try and hit the uprights 7 times, and they couldn't do it. Bad Luck.

Honestly, I thought this was The Best this team's looked in a loss.

I remain shocked that they get so tired and fatigued by the 4th Quarter. If this was the 3rd or 4th game, I'd be concerned about this lack of conditioning, but the offense looked dull and tired, the defense starting giving up huge holes for 8-yard gains on 1st Down runs. "Tired", yes. I just wish this wasn't the end of the season - that says one of those teams was in much better condition than the other.

Why should any Big 12 team be in such better condition? Wait wait - we all know that answer.

At the same time, I saw CU pull away for the kickoff return when he could have been tackled at the 40-30 yd line, but he pulled away easily. Was that the last show of high energy?

you had me until right there, after basically costing us the game last week with stupid penalties he missed a number of key blocks early and picked up a couple of dumb penalties. At one point he forgot to block the DE who clobbered Hansen.

You are aware that DS isnt a particularly large back right? he's the same size as Michael Crabtree, and he fell down anytime anyone got near him. With the way our oline blocks we would have needed a Wisconsin era Ron Dane or Christia Okoye back there.

True, but I didn't say he was flawless. He is about the only one who doesn't get pushed backwards on a regular basis and he does play with a nasty streak. That is what I like about him.

That play reminded me of Remeber the Titans. I don't think there was any foul play but damn how do you miss blocking a DE?

i bet b-lock would have ton's of yards if he got some playing time, meaning as many carries as that other rb we have doe's..we need a punter and a kicker, how the hell doe's he nail the upright 7 ****ing times? just a thought out of all the guy's on the team none can punt more than 40 ****ing yard? :eiertritt:<--- how i felt after the game last night !!!

I thought last night would have been the perfect time to have DScott back in Punt formation... either punting or faking

By larger all I could compare to is what we had on the field. I love Speedy, but he was clearly not going to get much help from the O line and could not break any tackles. It would have been nice to see a RB bigger than 5'8 in to see if they could at least move the pile forward for 3-4 yards.

You talk a lot of **** about Scott, what did he do to you?

Stating he is the same size as Michael Crabtree is not talking **** it is true. I just think its funny that everyone on here thinks he is some huge bruising back that could crush tacklers like Brandon Jacobs. He wasn't and that never happened. I am not sure that is talking ****.

I have said some other **** that was for sure talking **** though.

Goodman's problem isnt bad luck yall. Its all upstairs, he has an NFL leg. He couldve made that 49 yarder from 59, dont make a **** if you cant get it between the pipes.

I went back and looked at the game notes. I believe he has hit the uprights 9 to 10 times, but they are only counting the misses. He has hit either two or three times that the field goal was good.

This is probably a stat that will never be duplicated.
