I'm sure we'll make great staff changes since great coaches are knocking down the

door to coach with a lame duck head coach with one more year. Go coaching!

Thanks DiStefano and Benson. F*CK YOU.

I've heard from a source very close to the team that our overall conditioning is pathetic. They do not work on speed drills and strength training is very elementary. I'm not sure who the coach is responsible for this area, but hopefully there will be a change made.

That would make a lot of sense with how slow we look this year.

seems like S&C has been an issue for the last 10 years. I wasn't a huge fan of Doc, but we've certainly had a tough time getting up to speed in this area since he left.

Doc was good at his job. I believe he was once considered among one of the best and most innovative S&C coaches. I remember the parachute thing he did with Fauria that other programs copied. As I recall that was his deal but I could be wrong.

S&C has been a huge issue IMO... that is why our OLine gets manhandled, and it might help improve the speed of this team

I was thinking that our lame duck scenario may actually bring in some good coaches for next season.

If you were a young coach with out any HC experience but you're looking for a chance to be HC at a BCS program, why not come be a coordinator at CU under the lame duck coach so that when he gets fired the next year you have an inside track on getting the HC job. It might not be a bad career move. It's not a perfect plan but I think it's plausible.

Strength is not a problem with the team. They have the numbers. They are quite impressive.

However, they aren't powerlifters or Oly lifters. They need to work on their agility and speed. There are different ways to train to emphasize what they need to work on; ladders, box jumps, etc.... You emphasize one or two aspects of strength and the other aspects suffer. Football athletes need to be strong, but fast, bulky, yet not slow. These guys are trained to be only strong and we are getting manhandled with people that are quick, explosive and have great agility. It doesn't help that we've had how many OL coaches over the past 5 years? The technique we use is pretty ****ty too, we do not get low enough and try and establish leverage.

Miller's lateral movement is not as good as it should be given that he's been in the program for 3 years. No excuses.
