that Folsom might look like the fusker '05 game tomorrow. If we see the same type of ****ty play we've seen for two seasons now it'll get ugly. I hope it doesn't and we win 60-0, but..... damn. :sad1:

It is a worry, and I prime reason I am confused by the timing of this announcement. Why not wait till after the game? If the Buffs lay an egg, the drunk stadium/students might act out - as they feel the only influence they have may be to act up.

Hopefully that doesn't happen.

Let's see which team shows up. The one that beat KU and aTm, or the one that got their asses kicked by the likes of Missouri. I'm optomistic that the "good" Buffs will show up!

I think today will show a lot about the kids on the team. Will they rally around Hawk being here another year and come out and play with emotion and fire? I sure hope so.

I'm not sure the students today, on the whole, are passionate enough to do much regardless

lot of them are out of town as well. in the past, we could count on Denver area students to show over the holiday....but, with all the air out of the balloon....they may stay at mom's, chow leftovers, and hit the old stopping grounds with high schools buddies (gender inclusive) and do however they managed to puff a bit or get some liquor inna day. not only confirmed by a little brother of one of my buddies from Littleton but that's how i used to spend holidays at home.

more dubious are the emails from the AD i've been getting for the last two weeks about 50$ seats available. my feeling is a lot of those have been sold to local bugeaters. i was skimming huskerpedia yesterday and about half of them (seems) live in NE Colorado.

Bring the fusker fans on. It'll be fun to watch them trudge out of the stadium with big frowns on their fugly faces!

My kid and all his friends will be there. Don't underestimate the local students!

Both my boys and their friends are going to be there, and I've got a group of four with me.

Don't underestimate the excitement of gameday, and the gorgeous weather.

I've lost all excitement for this game. Why should I invest in the team when the school, administration, state, and team clearly don't give a **** about the performance on the field?

Because the student athletes that give it their all deserve our support. I don't support the coaches, but I support this team still. This might sound harsh, but if you decide to jump like that and not get excited for the Nebraska game, then maybe you were cheering for the wrong team all along. I understand your frustration and I am frustrated too, especially with the recent comments from Phil, but these kids need us now maybe more than during the scandal.

because i do and you dont want me to feel bad, do you?

It doesn't mean I've been rooting for the wrong team. It means I've lost the faith required to be a fan of a team that is this ****ing ****ty and shows signs of only getting worse, not better, and that that kind of performance is exactly what the administration and coaching staff wants.

I imagine some faith will return in the offseason, as it always does after disappointing seasons, but at this point, my emotional energy required for this **** is gone.

somebody give this man a hug!

I'll be there and so will my dad, sister (mom had to go out of town otherwise she would be there as well), multiple cousins, an aunt, and many other great fans!

just got back from King Sooper's on 30th and Arapahoe and getting a coffee, lotta red around town. launched a few piss bombs and showed some local jr high girls how to properly slash red truck tires and gave them 20$ and pointed them in the direction of the Harvest House/Safeway parking lots.

back home now.

I've spent the whole morning stuffing nails with marshmallows. It's not as easy as it sounds. :wink2:

after i push the rusty nail through the marshmellow, i put them in the freezer. that way they throw better and hold the nail more firmly.

That sucking noise you hear is all of the stupidity flowing out of Nebraska and NE Colorado into the Boulder area.....

How many H U S K E R fans will be at the game today? My guess is about 20,000.

That is a lot of RED!!!!

Hopefully they'll do a lot of shopping in Boulder while they're here. I've been told that local shops are majorly overstocked with overalls this year because the Aggies didn't travel as well as they had expected. :smile2:

my buddy owns a restaurant fairly near the stadium, he says the influx of nickles and dimes after the Red Horde comes to town is something you have to prepare for.

**** those sister-raping, corn-****ing, sheep-sucking, ****-juggling inbred piles of **** from that hell hole of a tract of land known only as ****braska

DallasBuff--leave NE Co out of your sucking sound. In fact, pity the residents of NE CO today. On the way to the game the nubs will be bragging how great they are. On the way home after they lose they are complete jerks to the people along I-76 who get in their way.
