Has anybody seen a video clip anywhere of Hansen juking Suh right out of his jock and Suh falling flat on his face? A husker fan I know didn't see it and doesn't believe it happened.

Nah it's a pirrouette. To different from your run of the mill spin move. Or perhaps a hanspin? Never really seen a qb do it so often either.

That was our moral victory.
Our moral victory, was that our 190# athletic QB could juke a 310# lineman one-on-one in the open field. C'mon, Suh is a great Defensive Tackle but we're not talking about Taylor Mays here.

I know we lost and all, but I was singularly unimpressed with Suh. Lotsa hype, no substance.

Suh also recovered and hurried the throw, both players showed their athleticism on that play. Hardly something to brag about on either side.

Taylor Mays is miserably overrated

Even Ray Lewis gets juked once in a while. Let's not go overboard here. Hansen put a great move on Suh, pretty much had to or he was about to die. Suh recovered and still pressured the throw. Go figure, a CU fan unimpressed with Suh. I'm sure that he will fret while getting a ton of hardware in the next two weeks!

He can get all the hardware he wants. Fact of the matter is that he didn't do much against CU. Maybe he was all-world in his other games, I don't know. I don't make it a habit to watch fusker football. The most impressive guy for the fuskers was their punt returner.

So far, my kind of thread. Also, I'm sauced on Glenmorangie Nectar d'or, which is the only reason I'd admit to enjoying it.

FIFY. That kid can boom it, and totally tilted the field in the first qrt.

Suh's the real deal. He was taking up two or more most plays. That being said, Ryan Miller played pretty well. I think the proverbial "light" is starting to go on for the O-line. If we can keep the same guys in the same place, they could start living up to their billing next season. I actually think we ARE really close. Remains to be seen but I am optismistic about the O next year even with the tougher schedule. I think the D already started turning the corner and should be a strength next year.

Beltway: You are right-on regarding that kicker. I generally do not give kickers much love but that dude is a weapon.

I hate Alex Henery. Hate him with the burning fury of a million blazing suns. Hate him the way a lawyer hates the truth. Hate him like a cat hates a bath. Hate hate hate hate hate him. **** Alex Henery.:sad2:

Why the **** can't he transfer to U$C?????

One thing that I think really hurt miller this season was all this bouncing around from tackle to guard every other game. I'm all about getting the best players on the field, but i think every game had a different combo of OL at various positions. If we see more consistency in personnel, that has to translate to consistency in quality of play.

And punter, those two guys right there are really the main reason Nebraska won.

Yeah I think so too. We need some continuity on the OL next season. I really hope MTM is healthy, he was a beast before he went down last year. Hopefully next year everyone will be a year older and will perform up to par. Some of their mistakes were just mind boggling though. That one sack Givens gave up, I forget which game it was, but he just let the DE right through and double teamed the DT instead of like, blocking the DE. Not sure who to blame that on, but that's the kind of thing we need fixed; that and false start penalties.

Just watched the highlights, man we had a lot of good highlights on both sides of the ball. Some really big plays on offense against that good Nebraska defense. It's a shame we didn't win.

False. Hansen>Suh. Obvi.

I agree Suh didn't look that impressive against us, but in one of their games he was like a one-man wrecking crew. In the span of a few minutes he sacked the QB and then just stood in the middle of the field, put his hands up, and intercepted the ball. I couldn't stand to watch. Sorry I don't remember which game it was--I was just flipping thru channels.
