I thought Bohn was Going to Do what Illinois Just Announced....

still rumors that this is gonna happen, possibly in the next week.

Good! If not, you'll anger Cerrano.

Woelk wrote something to the effect of nothing much on that front until after recruiting. But I think he is purely speculating.

Nothing like getting rid of one of the only two people on this entire staff that know what they are doing and keeping all the mediocre-to-terrible coaches.

Sure would like to know what rumors you are hearing...I haven't seen anything to make me believe that any changes outside of coaches choosing to leave will happen.

Illinois AD Ron Guenther has made some bad hires on the football side. He does alright in basketball. Zook is a hell of a recruiter. He needs top notch coordinators.

Hawk tells benson that ridlle and collins, bandison are awesome coaches and do a great job teaching life lessons and they say okay, keep whoever you want.

They had the chance to better this program, they snubbed their nose and they will pay for it.

Forgot the part about always having plenty of juice boxes.

With the worst ranked class in the Big 12 and something like 80 in the nation, what recruiting class are we trying to hold onto? Bottom line is CU admin decided to keep Hawkins around, and Hawkins is not going to fire anyone. To do so would be an admission that things were not as "close" as he keeps telling everyone.

Hawkins is probably hoping much of his staff gets poached by other schools. That way when the team sucks next year he call tell everyone about the new coaches they had to bring in, the new system they needed to learn, blah blah blah. CU admin will use it as an excuse to give him the 2011 season to prove things are gonna pop.
