Colt wins, but it should go to Suh.

Gerhardt's the best RB by far, Ingram isn't even the best player on his team. It'd be a shame if Ingram won over Gerhardt.

I say Ingram takes it, but Gerhart is probably the most deserving. But there's certainly no clearcut choice this year.

I already like Evans' motion when he goes to the clipboard, and can really take off his headset with a finesse typically reserved for upperclassmen. I think it's going to be really special when I see him replace those things with a football and a helmet.

Voted Ingram.
Why b/c the voters suck. Suh and Gerhart are the more deserving and have been the "Most Outstanding College Football Players". Heisman has become a joke and the voters are swayed by who is propped up by ESPN, etc.

I think Gebhart will win it.. He's had the most consistent season..

Suh probably should win it though..

if McCoy wins it's a joke. he was crap against OU and NU, the only legit D's he played. i see the "lifetime achievement" angle, but let's be real.

Suh or Gerhart.

Suh or Gerhart.

If lifetime achievement is a factor, then there are people wearing 15 jerseys at the Vatican right now picketing with "Santo Subito" signs and doing the Gator Chomp.

McCoy will win based on a "life-time achievment" sort of thing. Suh is most deserving of it tho.

I think Suh should win. Assuming he won't because he's a d lineman on an average team, then I think Gerhart should win.

However, I don't think either will win.

Just saw Suh interviewed. Doesn't look like there is much to dislike there.

Ingram should win, because he led his team to the MNC game (and probably will win it). I personally think Masoli is more deserving than Suh, because he led his team to the PAC 10 title on mostly his talent, while NU lost to Iowa St while winning the Big XII north (whoopee).

Great speech. Full of class.

He knows he's got the most important game of his life still to play. Guy's got perspective I can tell.

So much for most outstanding player.

They just need to admit that the Heisman goes to the most hyped East Coast QB or RB.

Hard to believe that he is Bama's first Heisman winner.

Yeah it is quite surprising although not a lot of big time players jump out of me at the QB, WR and RB position from Bama.. Of course I know Namath, S. Alexander was a big player but not a whole lot of "college" one man wrecking crews like the Tebow's and Vince Young types at Bama.. Not a lot of flashy offensive players who put up a lot of stats came from Bama..

Bama Charlie can definitely shed light on this more than I can.. They had a kid during the early 90's ( I think his name was Palmer or something like that) who was a Rocket type of player.. But from most of my life Bama played a very conservative style of offense where its hard for players to win Heisman's on.. Especially under Stallings in 90's..

I still remember how shocked I was when Bama beat miami in the sugar bowl in 92... I don't think anyone gave them any chance in that game..

It's too bad this award has become a joke and is all about who is hyped up the most by ESPN. It also seems to go to guys more often than not that are going to play in the NC game. Gerhart was a beast and should've won it before Ingram IMO. Obviously I wanted Suh to win it, but I knew that was a long shot.
