'10 CO RB Mister Jones (Signed to Texas A&M)

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Colorado)

Sigh. Why are you guys posting crap in this thread?

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Colorado)

Four years in Boulder vs. four years in stinkin'?

No contest. Go Buffs!

You would be correct, depending on what you are going to school for...play time in the hills or football.

I've lived in NE for 30 years and now in Colorado for 14 and I don't really have a preference. My keyboard works the same in both places.

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Colorado)

He is College Station this weekend. I am starting to get nervous about this commitment.

He was the one guy I thought would stick. Still might. Oh well, I can't say I will be surprised.

It ain't over until it's over. Let the kid take his trip and mull his options.

Being a senior in high school and going on recruiting trips can just be fun times.

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Colorado)

I have no clue what could possibly be appealing about College Station....

College station: 47°F

Current: Fog
Wind: NW at 6 mph
Humidity: 88%

Well, he might have expected better weather, but that's what he got.

for contrast:
Boulder: 43°F
Current: Mostly Cloudy
Wind: W at 30 mph
Humidity: 24%

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Colorado)

Never tried it. Is it better than Genessee Light?
Been a long time, but my recollection is that it is nothing more than your generic cheap beer.

Never had Genessee Light... but it is a little better than Milwaukee's Best Light.... yes, I'll admit it

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Colorado)

Aggies

***** Dan Hawkins, no one is smelling what the Hawk is cooking.

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Colorado)

He committed on his trip to College Station this weekend. This is a big loss.

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Texas A&M)

Where is this showing up officially, all the sites still have him listed as a soft colorado commit, am I missing something?

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Texas A&M)

::scared2::congrats: Hawk has promised a top 10 class. I will hold him to it. Gl to you Mr. Jones.

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Texas A&M)

I thought his biggest concern was staying close to home. What happened?

We don't know. But it does mean that there are still two months to go before LOI and things may not be as settled as they seem.

Agree it isn't over yet. Remember when the KU coaches were mouthing off to him, he seemed pretty committed to CU. But it's always seemed like being close to home was our trump card. If he's willing to commit to a Texass school, it seems like that advantage isn't as important to him as it seemed like earlier....

Re: '10 CO RB Mister Jones (Committed to Texas A&M)

Or it was a spur of the moment thing, and he has time over the quiet period and upcoming holidays with his family to think it all through.

For our program sake and for Hawk, it better be.

I'm sorry we can't compete without these kind of players going elsewhere in our backyard.. Just not going to happen..

Hawkins should never say, "10". Ever. All it does is backfire.

We will finish with a top 10 class. . . . .

In the Big XII north division.

It may be so bad that it doesn't even get ranked #6 in the division, #8 or #9 might be more accurate.
