Broncos - Frogs is the best match up. I'd rather see either of these teams playing against a team from a BCS conference, though. TCU - Oregon and Boise - tOSU would be better than that stale old BigTeleven/Pac10 tilt.

Oregon-tOSU might be okay, so long as sweater vest Tressle gets beaten senseless by an akwardly uniformed Oregon team.

The Sugar Bowl looks to be a farewell event for Tebow. Turn that one into a drinking game and take a shot every time an announcer worships the second coming.

The Orange Bowl is only interesting because of GT's offensive scheme. But otherwise, who cares?

Couldn't agree more.

Iowa vs. Ga Tech

Two programs at the crossroads. Time to anchor their place in the upper echelon or slink back to mediocrity. I enjoy watching both offensive schemes. Iowa's pro-style PA game vs the option.

Will be very interested to see what happens if Johnson can win a big game and attract some big time talent. They're the class of the ACC right now, and could dominate for years to come. Might be looking at a MNC run at some point.

Iowa's in about the same situation with MU going through a down period. tOSU could be slipping as well. A couple good recruiting hauls, and they could tip the balance for the near future at least.

BCS did it on purpose because they didn't want to get embarrassed if Boise or TCU would beat one of their darlings. Sucks. That's why I like the Sugar Bowl.

I see the Fiesta as an opportunity for a non-bcs to earn their stripes, position themselves for preseason rankings, and make a run at playing for the title next year, if they have what it takes. It is put up or shut up time.

From that standpoint, I find it an interesting matchup.

The Rose because of the tradition and "classic" feel the game tends to have. Although I don't find this year's matchup particularly appealing, I always look forward to the Rose Bowl.

I'm completely unexcited about any bowl games this year. None are of interest to me.

this. i did enjoy the Wyo game, though. and the MWC sticking it to the Pac 10 again with Utah-Cal.

it's depressing to be out of the bowl lineup for 3 of the last 4 years. and the one we WERE in....we come out like crap on a stick (truly, minus any of the last 3 Missouri games excepted....as bad a football i've seen from CU in the first quarter).....and the team we lose to has won more SEC games in each of the last two seasons than we have total W's in both years combined and will play for it all as a favorite this year. Strangers in the night, exchanging glances.....we go down, Bama goes up.

hooray.

I'd say the Orange or the Rose. They seem to have decent match ups. I think TCU will dominate Boise, and Florida dominates Cincy. So yeah the other two I think will be better games.

I can't say that I will watch a single bowl game this year... The only one I could ever stand to watch was the ones that CU was in, but other than that, I would rather watch those dumb ass Jersey kids do stupid stuff on that MTV show.

No if we had the top 16 ranked teams do a playoff... I would totally watch that!

Notwithstanding the midmajors' recent performance in the BCS bowls, I still believe TCU, BSU or Utah, would not go undefeated in any BCS conference. They play a wussy conference schedule. Put them in a BCS conference and watch how fast these undefeated teams become 9-3 or 8-4 teams.

That's how I see it, too. BCS: Bogus Chicken Sh!t

My preferred matchup

BCS - Bama v UT
Orange - Georgia Tech v TCU
Sugar - Florida v Boise
Fiesta - Cincy v Iowa
Rose - Oregon v Ohio State (tradition and all that)

In the SEC or Big12 or PAC I'd give you that; but in the Big11 or ACC or big east? they could easily go 11-1 or better.

What the bcs clowns did to Boise and TCU really, really, sucks. I'd much rather see Boise clobber Iowa in the Fiesta and TCU play GTech in the Orange. It would give a much better feel of what these teams are - or aren't - about. Personally, I think TCU would finish near the top of any conference in the country - top third or so. We don't get to see, though.
