i just realized that.

maybe we'll see some reasons for hope! i hope.

at least maybe we (errr, maybe by "we" i mean "me") can take our minds off conference shuffles and think about foosball for a few weeks...

yay!

Loving the conference realiginment stuff but we'll eventually tire of it and actually start talking football again.

Allbuffs gaiter this year? Last year it was scrubbed due to the **** weather.

I will happily come and drink your beer and eat your food, whomever hosts it!

I won't be there. Sorry.

I'm having a hard time getting excited about Spring ball. I'm pretty ambivalent about CU football right now. Spring ball will do nothing other than treat us to a steady diet of Hawkins bullsh!t. I'd rather work on the drywall in my garage.

I'm with you on this one. I would rather watch a ****ing fly crawl on the wall. I might take my little girl to healthy kids day and then leave when the game starts, just because she loves that so much. Or I just might go fishing.

I see "best spring practices" in a future headline.

Yep. We need to get ready for a steady diet of "practice was awesome today, the best we've had this Spring by far". I'm sure we'll hear "they're really getting after it".:blah:

And another round of even reps detween Cody and Tyler with an announcement a week before the CSU game.

I might go just to see if Bohn will be begging fans & alum in the stands not to turn their backs on him. I'm certain he will be doing his best PR while he's mingeling among the crowd. And if I'm in a bad mood that day, he better stay away from me.

I will probably go to the spring game, but I will also enjoy the comments from the coaching staff after each practice. Should be entertaining.

If keisau can get hansen in better decision making scenario's and the OL holds up, I think this offense can do some good things. Being more consistent would be a start. Defense? The front 7 should be solid but again, the LB's need to be more of a factor and make more plays. The secondary should be solid, but depth could be a big issue with injuries. Special teams, punting and fg kicking must improve and we must get better in returning punts and kickoff coverage.

Who took over Syko's computer....I would agree but that is the same bull**** I was thinking last year. Tough to get excited about this situation and the crap that will be spewed on daily basis by the staff.

Is that you syko? I never thought I would see the day when you were more optimistic than me!

I feel the same way about some of the guys here...I'm not too pumped up for spring football...maybe the attendance this spring will be so bad it would actually send a message to MB and DH.

This has to depress Mike Bohn to no end. Two die hard fans, saying "meh...pass," to an afternoon of Buff football. Hopefully the weather will be great and you two will rethink your decision, if for no other reason than, as a local, you have the opportunity to see the Buffs play for a couple of hours.

No doubt, there will be plenty of fluffy quotes form coaches, but seriously, what do you expect them to say? It's a new team, a new year (I know, same coach) and for me, just like Spring Training for my Houston Astros, hope springs eternal!

I love the spring game. I've made it a tradition to take my nephew (and my niece if she feels like it ) and I buy them some CU gear. This has a great effect on them because their parents are CSU grads, and I've managed to convert 2 of their 3 kids (working on the last one).

It is a free event, and is a good time on a spring saturday.... maybe I will host the gaiter! Too bad I don't have a grill

Ask Philly if you can borrow his.

I'll be there with wife and daughter. I'm excited for the game and the whole day, had a blast last year despite the cold.
Shame on some of you for effectively boycotting the game. Attending the game is not akin to supporting our current coach/AD/admin etc.

If Hawkins holds form the spring game might be the only time to actually see the players practice prior the CSU game. You don't want anyone being able to scout your team prior to gameday.

I'm torn on attendance. My kids loved running around the field and meeting all the players, and that will probably make me attend assuming the weather is nice. I'm actually hoping for horrible weather like last year, that way I won't feel bad for not taking the kids.

I'll go. Its the one time the buffs are assured a victory. Well maybe not.

And this explains everything....

I've made my stance known on coach simple jack. It's time to move away from bashing him daily and to somewhere deep down inside find some hope for 2010. I'd like to go into each season thinking we have a shot at winning the north, pipe dream at the present time but i'm looking for better play this season. Coaching will still be sub-par but maybe cu can have a decent season despite of coaching.
