I can't ever remember CU being absent from an ESPN schedule, and you have ESPN2 and ESPNU now.

Shocker!

Who wants to watch Cal play their 3rd stringers against us? And Georgia is only sending their band and you know they are going to whip up on us. I wouldn't put us on TV either.

There are still a lot of games to be picked on a weekly basis but the Buffs have not done anything in the last couple of years to earn a spot on National TV. It makes me very sad....

We've got to hope that Fox picks up the CSU game nationally. A win in that game is essential. I don't know that there's enough time between that game and Cal for the Cal game to end up national (especially if CSU moves to Sunday again). Getting Georgia national will happen for sure if we start 3-0. Worse record than that, I doubt it.

Yep, we need to get as many national games as possible otherwise our revenue share in the Big 12 will drop below Baylor next year.

ESPN sure loves the Big East.

I'll be very interested in that firday night Arizona at Toledo game. Did Greg Brown learn anything from last years thrashing? I'm guessing he'll have the team's attention all week. I'd feel a little better if Toledo rips them apart, but I have a feeling Arizona keeps them in check.

I definitely see the value in having national games, but I'm actually glad that we'll have fewer thurs/fri games this year.

It's for the best. I had to watch the CSU and Toledo games on DVR last fall and that was absolutely killer. And yes, I watched them both to the bitter end. That Toledo game still gives me bouts of depression.

Taking Saturdays back...one losing season at a time.

That schedule is in no way complete. Those seem to mostly be the weekday games. CU could still be on national television

ESPN apparently has a crush on the Mountaineers...

Not a complete schedule at all. ESPN has the contract with the SEC, where they broadcast I believe 1-2 SEC games per weekend on ESPN/ESPN 2, with another being on ESPN U... when you look at that they only have one SEC matchup on the schedule- Auburn v. Miss St. Like I said there is a long way to go. CU will be on ESPN at least once I imagine.

Folks, this is just ESPN. Buffs will be on FSN and ABC up the wazzo again. Also note that there are only 3 Big 12 games in that entire schedule. I would love it if we were on CBS for the Georgia game, but that will likely be a 1:30p ABC game.

I'll agree with the FSN, but I don't know about ABC. Plus, if it's only regional, it won't help recruiting nearly as much as national.

I'm not sure how that works for SEC teams playing non-conference games, with CBS being an SEC network, so I don't know if the UGA game would be picked up by CBS or ABC, assuming of course one of them would want to pick it up. But if it was CBS, I think all their games are national and they don't do any regional telecasts.

Home team gets the broadcast rights. Big 12 home games are in priority: 1) ABC 2) ESPN 3) FSN

So, most likely that will get an ABC slot.
