Going to the spring game with lots of little kids. Anyone have recommendations on where I should park? Also, will they allow food to be brought in?

way it's looking (and the forecast)....might make sure all the kids have a rain ready coat/jacket. just in case. not warming up as fast as yesterday, either. i live about 1/2 mile from Folsom. could be perfectly nice....but better safe than a gaggle of wet, cold kids.

i'm sure they'll let you bring food. usually the gates are open, not attended or policed in any way.

In this day and age, no security? Don't tell any terrorists.....

i was thinking about that when i was typing, but that's how i recall it the last few years. me and a buddy (who is in a wheelchair) have just cruised into the stadium from the North endzone (by the CU locker-room). people come and go "freely". the stadium gates have been the same as i recall.

Try the parking structure near the Engineering school, or lots near Coors Events center. Not sure they will be charging today, but bring cash just in case. $5, $10 or $20, can't remember. But the first time I did something like this, I blew all my cash on parking, so I learned a lesson there. There are probably free lots open, but Engineering is a good spot to try otherwise. Not a bad walk.

You might be able to park at the church across the street from folsom. I've never had a problem bringing food or drink into folsom at any spring game. You might also be able to park just west of the stadium by entering from the street that runs by the high school.

Parking in the parking structure by coors should be free today. It was last year.

Or at the 29th street mall if you are looking for a good walk. It is at least a 10 minute walk, but it's nice walking by the HH and creek...

ugh bcs has the flu... who the **** gets the flu in mid april

Do you always speak in the third person? I flashed back to a Herschel Walker quote from years ago, "Herschel really liked drilling Bosworth's ass into the turf...."

Dply has had digestive issues. Dply called in to work today but still can't go to the spring game. dply is sad.

DallasBuff is sorry he picked the wrong user name....he really is not from Dallas...he is from Arvada....DallasBuff is pissed that the Buffs football team can not rewind to 1990-1994, or even to 2001-2003. DallasBuff is almost resigned to following the Cowboys, Longhorn Football, and to-be-determined college basketball program. Perhaps DallasBuff needs to redefine himself into someone who does not care about college athletics, so he can recover his sanity....
